Sorry for not progressing with the story but I'm trying to tell you the correct information about everything according to the Vedas and the manusmriti. So, I told you guys that there was a creator, a preserver and a destroyer. However, I have come to know that there is trinity in Hinduism too. It is, God, nature and soul. Vedas is all about using nature for the progress and benefit of the humankind. The same thing about the Ayurved and the yoga. In short, it's the same principle as science has.
God didn't make us. We all are just a collection of energy, some positive, some negative but overall, it's neutral. We are eternal. We will never die. That's why Hinduism is also called the Sanatan dharm or the eternal religion. Here, the rules of the dharm are not for people of one religion but for the entire humanity itself. Like I had said before, everyone has a demon inside them as well as a God inside them. The purpose of your life is getting moksh and getting mixed with the supreme energy, aum. What is his work then if he didn't create us? Here, he will make sure to give you results according to your deeds and your wishes. Global bestseller, 'the secret' which have changed many lives has scratched just the surface of this universal involvement between us and our souls. We can understand him if we understand nature or prakruti. That's why the Vedas is full of praises of fire, rain, etc and telling people how to be grateful for these entities and use them for the benefit of the mankind. Performing yagyas regularly helps in controlling considerable amount of pollution. In the same way, if we worship these entities, it will only lead to our progress. What does worshipping mean? It simply means using them in the right way without any greed.
I don't think I have understood everything on this matter but Mahabharat is all about getting moksh. It's a history, a history which has the stories of the Vedas, words of the God. It's a story which will lead to freedom from the cycle of life and death. For more information on why God created us, please read this article because I don't think I will be able to explain this.

Also, if you want any information on the manusmriti or the Vedas, it's best if you find that information here. If you don't, you can find the information on other sites but I prefer this one because they basically run gurukuls. They know about the Vedas and the manusmriti the most. They also know Sanskrit. So, I basically like their work. Anyways, bhagwad Geeta says that if you worship the demigods, you will go to heaven and if you worship aum, you will get mixed with him. It's a tough journey to get moksh but we can at least complete our dharm and karm to make sure that we become humans in the next life again. After all, being a manushya means supporting the weak and growing together. Also, please read the article. It explains in utmost detail of what Vedas say about why the God created us.
