Where Is She?

Jim makes his way to the bridge, he sees three of the soldiers are there, just before they can shoot Sulu he blasts them with his phaser.

"Captain." Chekov says, as Jim makes his way over to him, he looks over at the alien that had asked for their help, staring her down.

"How many of the crew are still onboard the saucer?" Jim asks Sulu.

Sulu presses a few things on the screen at his station, "None. But if I'm reading this correctly, the intruders are taking them." he replies.

Jim looks at him, he tries to keep his facial expression calm and neutral, but he feels like he's failing, because on the inside he's scared, for many reasons, and maybe it's selfish, but his main source of worry is his wife, 'Where is she?' he can't help but think, as he also tries to think of what to do next.

"Captain, we are caught in the planet's gravity. We cannot pull away." Chekov says, defeat in his voice.

Jim is quiet for a moment, watching as they get closer to the planet, "Get to your Kelvin pods." he orders.

"Yes, sir." Sulu says.

"Aye, Captain." Chekov says, taking the alien woman with him.

Jim looks down, feeling many emotions, but most of all he's scared. He let's every one get to their pods first, as he watches them get closer and closer to the planet.

Finally he makes his way to his pod, it closes, sealing him in, it shoots off and he can only watch as the Enterprise, their home, crashes down into the mountains.

If it wasn't obvious before it is now, Bones is no pilot, because they've crashed.

Bones slowly climbs his way out of the ship, "I can't believe it." he says, looking around.

"What that you crashed, I can." Eleanor says, popping her head out.

"Oh be quiet, I'm a doctor not a pilot." he says, offering his hands to help her out of the ship, to which she takes, "Careful." he says, once she's out and on her feet, he notices there's a cut bleeding from her forehead, much like the one on his own.

"You okay?" he asks, as he examines the cut.

"I'm fine. We're fine." she whispers the last bit.

They hear a rustle and groan from the ship, both look over to see Spock struggling to make it out, he makes it half way out when the two see there is a large chunk of metal protruding from his stomach.

"My god!" Bones exclaims.

"Spock!" Eleanor gasps loudly.

The two rush over to him, helping him out of the ship, wrapping his arms round their shoulders, "Sit him down over there." Bones tells Eleanor, the two then help move him to the front of the ship.

"Okay. Okay. Easy, easy." Bones says to the both of them, as they help lay Spock, who groans, "Try to relax." he says as he examines his wound.

"You're going to be okay." Eleanor says from his left, trying to comfort him, she places her hand on his shoulder.

"The forced optimism in your voices suggest that you are trying to enlist a sense of calm in order to..." Spock rambles.

"Okay, cut the horseshit." Bones says.

"Doctor, I fail to see excrement of any kind bears relevance on our current situation." Spock says, almost Eleanor making laugh - had they not been in a situation like this one - Spock then tries to get up, grimacing as he does.

"Woah, what the hell are you doing" Bones says.

"Spock stop!" Eleanor exclaims along with Bones, the two carefully grab a hold of him, keeping him from moving any further.

"We must keep moving." he says to the both of them.

"Spock, this thing's punctured your iliac region." Bones tells him, gently making him lay back down.

"Time is a critical factor." Spock tries to explain, though his face is contorted in pain.

"That's exactly what I'm trying to tell you. Look, if I can't take this out, you're going to die. Okay, If I take it out and can't stop the bleeding, you're going to die." Bones explains, Eleanor looks over at Bones with more worry then before, if that's possible.

"I can see no appeal in either option." Spock says.

"Yeah, believe it or not, neither can I." Bones says, causing Eleanor to roll her eyes and give him stern look, "Sorry." Bones halfheartedly says. He leaves their side and makes his way towards the end of the ship.

"So, if I remember correctly, the... Vulcans have their hearts where humans have their liver." Bones says, looking around, then making his way back over to them.

"That is correct, Doctor." Spock says.

"That explains a thing or two!" Bones says as he begins to tear off a piece of metal from the ship.

"Bones." Eleanor groans.

"You know you're lucky! An inch to the left .." Bones says, cutting himself off when he succeeds in tearing off the piece of metal, "and you'd be dead already." he says, examining the piece of metal, then picking up one of the enemy's weapons and makes his way back over to them.

"I just don't get it, Spock. I mean, what? What did they attack us for? I mean..." Bones says as he crouches down next to a big rock, picking up a smaller rock he begins too smash it onto the front of the gun - which confuses Eleanor - "They do all this for some... doodad that the tiny critters didn't want?" he says.

"It is unwise to trivialize that which one simply does not understand, Doctor. We can safely assume that it is more important than a doodad." Spock says, hearing him say something like doodad makes Eleanor smile.

"I think you just managed to insult me twice, Spock." Bones says, examining the gun, he then uses it to heat up the tip of the metal, Eleanor now puts it together, figuring out what Bones is about to do, making her cringe.

"Okay. Alright, Spock. I just got one question." Bones says, now standing next to them, "What's your favorite color?".

"I fail to see the relevance.." Spock begins, but is cut off, in a very painful way, as Bones rips the piece of metal sticking out of him and presses the hot metal against his wound.

Spock's scream makes Eleanor cringe again, she gives his shoulder a light squeeze to try and comfort him, even just a little.

"Yeah. They say it hurts less if it's a surprise." Bones says, looking at the piece of metal.

"I may adopt a parlance which you are familiar. I can confirm your theory to be horseshit." Spock huffs out, hearing that makes Eleanor softly laugh.

"We gotta get out of here." Bones says, taking Spock's arm and wrapping it around his shoulder, Eleanor does the same, "You don't have to help you know." he says to her.

"I'm fine Bones, besides it'll go faster with both of us." Eleanor says, Bones huffs, they then make their way towards god knows where.
