"what the hell is taking them so long?! it doesn't take that long to grab a drink!" kourtney shouts.
"relax, kourtney. I'm sure they're just catching up or something." ashlyn replies.

the whole gang all made weird eye contact and immediately rushed and hid behind the pillars of the kitchen to see what ricky and nini were up to and listening to their conversation.

"are you?" ricky asks.
"are you what?"
"still in love with me?"

nini froze. of course, she was still in love with him, she just couldn't let it out. she was stuttering. "i-uh-well-uh."

ricky looks into her eyes. "because i have to admit, i am still in love in you."

nini was shocked. she didn't notice that tears started to come from her eyes. "y-you do?"

ricky held her hand. "of course. nini, ever since we broke up during senior year, i haven't stopped thinking about you, about us. it took me 2 years to try to move on and see other people but nobody compares to you. it has always been you, nini. always. ok i don't know if that made sense but—"

nini instantly presses her lips against his. he kissed her back. "oh ricky, you have no idea. i still love you. it has always been you." she says with tears in their eyes.

they kissed again. ricky tried to deepen the kiss until they we're interrupted by their friends' voices. "finally!"

the two started laughing. they immediately followed their friends back to the living room.

"ok since ricky and nini are finally back together, why don't we all share all the things we had to go through ever since you broke up?" big red suggests and everyone nods except for ricky and nini.

"what do you mea—" nini asks but kourtney interrupts.

"do you mean that it took me, ashlyn and gina 1 whole month to finally get you out of your room?? ugh we had to slide food under your door!" kourtney says and nini chuckles.

"ya, when we would invite you hangout, go for a walk or whatever, you'd just look at us for at least 5 seconds, then slam your door." gina adds.

"wow did you really do that nins?" ricky asks.

"ha yes, i mean we were together for a long time. it was hard without you." nini says, leaning her head to his shoulder and Ricky chuckles again.

"hey guess what nini, do you know after the breakup, we wanted him to feel better so we took him out. he got so drunk after." ej says.

"hell yeah, he kept rambling how much he loved you and that he would never meet a girl like you. he also stopped visiting the skate park for a while because both of you would always go there after school and it might relive some memories." big red adds.

"wow bowen, look who's talking." nini says and everyone including ricky just bursts into laughter.

after a long night of eating, drinking and chatting, it was time for everyone to go home.

"awww, i'll miss you guys!" carlos exclaims.

"but hey, ash and i hope to see you all again during our wedding." big red says.

"of course, we'll all be there!" ricky adds.

"great! we'll send you the invites as soon as they're ready." ashlyn replies.

everyone bids their goodbyes and goes straight to their cars. nini asks ricky if he would want to spend the night at her house, and of course, ricky said yes she really wanted to spend more time with him, especially since they just got back together.
