the future

after getting back together during the production of high school musical, ricky and nini have been inseparable since. they have been going strong all these years. despite attending different colleges in different states, they always made sure to call or message each other everyday and visit often. after college, opportunities for the two of them kept coming. now, ricky writes his own music and is signed to a big record label. on the other hand, nini manages and owns an acting school, with over 100 kids attending.

engagement
ricky wanted to take the next step of his relationship with nini. they were both 24 at the time and he thinks that they're ready. he planned to take her out to a small intimate dinner in a fancy hotel. it was perfect. a candle lit dinner in a small gazebo of the hotel, with the view of the sunset.  it was time for dessert and nini was enjoying her favorite chocolate cake until she sees something shiny in it. a silver ring with a diamond in the center.

nini was confused as she pulled out the ring admiring the stone. "what the hell is this? why is there a ring in my cake? there must be a mistake."

ricky walks over, grabbing the ring from her hand. "baby, it's not a mistake."

he kneels down in front of her and tears started to fall from her eyes. "nina, we've been together for so long. you were always there for me. you were always my biggest fan. i love you so much, so would you do me the honor and marry me?"

"yes, ricky! of course, i'll marry you!" nini exclaims.

wedding
ricky and nini got married after two years. it was set in a beautiful chapel in la. there were white flowers along the aisle and a red carpet leading towards the altar. it was decorated perfectly. it was also the talk of the town, with ricky releasing his second album and nini's acting school becoming more popular, they were both surely famous and successful. with that, they had to request for some privacy, that no reporters, photographers or anyone involved in the media would crash their wedding.

ricky settled to wear a black suit with a tie. he was glad seeing his parents present at his wedding, despite the conflicts back in high school. he walked down the aisle after mike and jenn then followed by lynne and todd. soon it was big red's turn, his best man. bridesmaids and ushers started walking, until kourtney, nini's maid of honor walked, meaning that nini was going next.

she wore an elegant sleeveless white ballgown with pockets and paired it with heels and a veil on her head. she walked towards the aisle with her mothers by her side. as soon as ricky saw her, he teared up, knowing that finally, he was going to marry the love of his life.

they said their vows to each other, which made all their family and friends cry. they cried even more when they shared their first kiss as husband and wife.

pregnancy
after 3 months of being husband and wife, they moved to a beautiful penthouse in la. the living room was filled with their pictures. pictures from their elementary days til their recent wedding.

one saturday afternoon, nini couldn't stop vomiting. she felt sick. she also checked her period app and it said she was three weeks late. she knew what was going on so instead of setting an appointment with the doctor, she found herself inside a pharmacy.

nini immediately ran to the bathroom and it was true. she was pregnant. she couldn't contain her emotions. she was so excited to tell ricky. she figured to surprise him when he got home since he was in the studio that day.

"baby, i'm home!" ricky shouts, putting down his keys, messenger bag and his red hydroflask.

nini ran and jumped into his arms, wrapping her legs around his waist, "woah, why got you so excited?" ricky asks.

nini immediately brought out a stick from her pocket, two pink lines were visible.

"are you s-serious?" ricky asks with tears in his eyes.

"hell yeah, we're gonna have a baby!" nini exclaims.

ricky kisses his wife passionately. "neens, we're gonna be parents!"

after nine months of her pregnancy, they figured that nini could just give birth any moment. ricky decided to take a short break during her 8th month, so he could take care of her. they decided not to find out the gender yet. they wanted to be a surprise.

while nini was freshening up in the bathroom about to get ready for bed, her water suddenly broke. "ricky! ricky! RICHARD!"

ricky rushed to the bathroom, knowing something was up especially since she called him richard. "wha-? oh my god we have to get you to the hospital now."

nini was in labor for about 18 hours. ricky hated seeing her suffer. she was in so much pain. but it was all worth it when they finally met their baby. their baby girl.

"nins, she's beautiful." ricky says, with tears falling.

"i know, we made a beautiful baby."

"what should we name her?" ricky asks.

"hmm, how about louisa mckenna bowen? does that sound good?" nini suggests.

"that's perfect."
