a moment in love

ricky woke up to the sound of birds chirping and the sun streaming right at his face. tonight, he was in his childhood hometown, salt lake city. it was the last concert of his first national tour. he was upset because he really loved performing in front of his fans, knowing that it makes them happy. although, he was relieved at the same time, meaning that he would spend more time with his girlfriend, nini.

since he is a famous singer while nini is a famous actress, they barely had some alone time. even though they lived together in a beautiful penthouse in la, they would go home late at night after a busy day in the studio and on set respectively. the only binding times they would have is a quick dinner then they would sleep immediately. despite their busy schedules, ricky and nini would still find time for each other, especially on important occasions such as anniversaries. sometimes, they would visit each other when they were working. when ricky announced that he was going to have his first national tour, he couldn't be more excited. nini insisted that she would go with him to make up the times they weren't together. after all, her tv show wouldn't start filming until the next year.

he rolled over to the other side of the bed and smiled when he saw his girlfriend still asleep. he admired how cute she looked when she's sleeping. ricky was playing with her hair that made her wake up. "shit, did i wake you?"

nini chuckles and pulls his neck to give him a kiss, "mhm, kinda but it's ok. come on, you have to get ready. it's your last concert. how are you feeling?"

"sad because i'm going to miss all of this but relieved at the same time because i get to spend more time with you."

nini blushes for a bit. "haha whatever bowen. i'll make us some breakfast while you take a shower and get dressed alright?"

"sounds good"

ricky got out of the shower, got dressed and checked his things. he left the bedroom and went to the kitchen of the apartment they were staying at, the smell of newly cooked pancakes took over the room. he went over to his girlfriend, wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her neck. he went over to the fridge to grab a carton of milk until nini stopped him. "nuh uh! no dairy for you. it's bad to have dairy intake before you sing. you should know that."

ricky groaned while nini chuckled. he knew that she was right. "ugh fine!"

nini served him some pancakes (with no syrup!) some fruit and water and they ate and talked on e kitchen counter. nini noticed the time and said he was going to be late if he didn't leave now. he grabbed his things from the bedroom and asked nini, "hey aren't you coming?"

"oh don't worry babe! i'll just meet the girls for a bit then we'll be there in the afternoon."

ricky goes over to her to kiss her goodbye, "ok i'll see you."

nini went over to ashlyn's house for lunch. they wanted to have a girls hangout before they meet the boys in ricky's concert.

while they were in the dining table, nini asks, "so how's married life treating you ash?"

"oh it's great. big red is the best. i just love having him around." ashlyn replies and they all smile.

"so uhm, i think it's best to say it now." gina started. "but ej just proposed to me last week!"

the girls all squealed. "gina!! that's awesome! can we see the ring?" kourtney adds.

they gushed over gina's engagement ring. kourtney saying that ej picked out a really nice ring. while nini was admiring it, ashlyn started to speak, "so you and ricky? have you guys had thoughts about getting married?"
