I'm the first to wake up in the morning, a little before noon. Logan is peacefully sleeping next to me with his arm wrapped tightly around my waist, holding my body close to his. My back is snuggly held against his chest, so I squirm until I'm turned around and facing him.
His chest softly rises up and down and his breaths are faint and slow. If I couldn't tell that his chest was moving, I would have thought he was dead. I look up at his soft messy bed head and quietly lift my hand to run my fingers through his light brown hair.
I watch as his eyebrows furrow slightly before evening out and his face relaxes again. He pulls my body closer, if that's even possible, and moves his head up giving my wrist a small kiss. I smile biting my lip as his eyes briefly flutter open to look at me and then close while a lazy smile graces his face.
The longer I lay here running my fingers through his hair, the more I realize I have to pee really bad. I hold it as much as I can because I wanna stay in the position forever, but eventually the pressure gets too bad and I need to get up.
I take my fingers out of his hair and begin to try and move out of his grip, slowly removing his arm from around me so I can get up to use the bathroom. But once he notices me trying to leave he tightens his grip.
"What are you doing?" his eyes flutter back open to look at me. I can't help but smile at his sleepy state. Before I can respond, there is a knock on the door.
Logan immediately perks up and I roll my head to look over in the direction of the door.
"Logan brunch is ready!" his mom yells from the other side of the door.
He groans and reluctantly removes his arm from around me so that we can get up. I chuckle and get up to go use the bathroom and brush my teeth. When I come out, he hands me a pair of his shorts that are extremely big so I have to pull the strings all the way to get them to sort of fit around my waist.
"Oh," Logan walks over to me and I watch in confusion as he points to my neck. "you might want to do something about those" he chuckles and walks into the bathroom.
I groan rolling my eyes and take my makeup bag following him into the bathroom to use his mirror. I hadn't even noticed them when I was in here before.
I do my best to cover up the multiple hickies with concealer as he brushes his teeth next to me. I end up brushing my hair and leaving it down for extra cover.
"Oh Hazel I didn't know you were here!" Diane smiles and immediately pulls me into a hug as soon as we step into the kitchen. I smile and give her a light squeeze before letting go.
"Food looks delicious" I tell her while graciously taking the plate she offers me.
"Well help yourself, there's plenty" she chuckles.
Logan grabs a plate as well and hovers over me while I go down the line of food. There is eggs, bacon, hash browns, and pancakes.
"Does your mom make brunch every Sunday?" I ask in a whisper as I scoop eggs onto my plate.
"Only when she knows you're here but pretends she doesn't" he whispers back smirking. I chuckle shaking my head while he grabs the spoon from me.
Once we fill our plates, we all go to sit down at the table. As we sit down, Logans dad walks in and silently gets his food. He sits down next to Diane and I notice Logans entire body language change. He's more tense and his energy automatically shifted.
"So how's the project going?" Diane asks in attempt to make conversation. I look over to Logan but he is currently having a stare down with his father.
