We were taught that happiness
comes from things.
Through notoriety.
Through worldly success.
Through diamonds and gems.
Through landing a stable job.
Through getting a promotion.
Through titles.
Through pills.
Through sex.But in reality.
It is pain. It is sadness.
That delivers us to unadulterated
Happiness
It is knowing that you are worthy
It is knowing the reality
That we're living in
And understanding it
It is knowing that we're sometimes
Fucked up
And we're flawed
And that's okay
That's what life is
It is understanding that there can be change
That you'll move forward never stagnant and it's up to you if that change
is good or bad
It is growing up and knowing that we are at fault
And making a step to fix us
It is knowing that we're broken
And that some of us are in need of fixing.Utter happiness is found within us.
Wrapped in barbed wire of lies
Trapped under cement of discontent
Under the river of self loathing
And it takes a lot of
Courage.
Self awareness
To find it.
To take the plunge.
And.
Take.
It.It'll be painful
It'll probably be traumaticBut. In the end.
It'll be worth it!
