There is a bloom in the mind
Radiant over rainbows cascading from the eyes
The sun gazes and peeks through
Its slits
And sees the blossoming of others
And it beacons the meek and silentThey too blossom.
A bloom in the gusts of darkness
We see what is not seen
In the grey of the fray
We see through the bleak pictures
Behind the curtains down the stage past the seats and over empty streets
And into the sky life- likeStill but moving.
And we bloomed, blossoming over
Light trapped behind our lids
We blossomed amidst it all.
We blossomed!
