You used to think of yourself as a rather moral, professional person. Even after Jungkook confessed his very much requited feelings for you, you hadn't planned to act on them until your contract as a Big Hit makeup artist was up. However, within the first month of the three you had left, goodnight texts became long goodnight calls, innocent movie nights became innocent sleepovers, and your friendship inevitably became a romantic relationship.
As shameless as it was, your happiness with Jungkook outweighed the guilt that you should have felt. The sneaking around seemed fairly harmless now that you had less than a month left of your contract. You were nervous, but excited to start a new journey. The job stability you had as an idol makeup artist was nice for a while, but settling within your comfort zone had been holding you back from your long-time dream of working in special effects makeup for film and television.
For years you had been improving your skills in special effects as a hobby, but you were always too scared to turn it into anything more than that. However, with some encouragement from Jungkook, you put together a portfolio and started applying to a few paid internships, and to your surprise, this morning, you awoke to an email informing you that you were accepted by AFX Studio in Seoul.
For the rest of the day, it was impossible to not smile every time you looked at your boyfriend, knowing how happy he was going to be when you tell him the good news. Much to his disappointment though, he seemed to misinterpret your frequent loving glances, because when you suddenly excused yourself to use the restroom halfway through finishing Jimin's makeup, you came back out to find Jungkook leaning against a nearby wall.
"What are you doing out here?"
Jungkook's brow furrowed, confused by your surprise. "Wait, was that not a signal?"
You giggled and lifted your hand to his hair, ruffling it lightly. "Believe it or not, Kookie, sometimes girls actually have to pee."
He released a playful, annoyed growl before swatting your pestering hand away and using it to pull you closer. "But I thought you wanted kisses..." He pouted, eyes settling on your lips.
You raised a brow and smirked, playing it cool and pretending that you couldn't feel the heated blush tinting your cheeks. "While Jimin-ssi has eyeshadow on only one lid?"
Jungkook shrugged. "I don't know what's in style these days."
You laughed and shook your head. "I'll go back first." You said, moving to walk past him before he could distract you any further.
However, his grip on your hand persisted and you made it only a step and a half before he pulled you back against his chest, hugging you from behind. "But I came all this way." He whispered against the shell of your ear, the tickle of his breath traveling down your spine.
"Jungkook." You scolded halfheartedly, looking around the empty hallway while pulling at his hands that were firmly clasped at the front of your waist.
"Hmm?" He hummed, tightening his hold on you as he nuzzled your neck.
"Someone could see." You whispered pointedly.
"Let them."
You scoffed and rolled your eyes, trying to fight the urge to melt into his warm embrace. "Seriously, if you get me fired, I'm telling everyone how soft and giggly the big, strong maknae gets when I call him honeybunny."
He chuckled, his hair tickling the side of your face as he shook his head. "I don't care." He said before dropping his lips to the crook of your neck where he began trailing kisses. "At least then they'll all know I'm your honeybunny."
