The following night, you tried to restrain yourself, but it couldn't be helped. You were too angry, hurt, and confused by Taehyung's continued silence to let another day pass without knowing what was going on with him. This left you with only one option: going to his apartment.

When you arrived, Jungkook let you in and informed you that the man in question was playing video games in his room. Before leaving your home, you had texted the maknae, that way you weren't just showing up unannounced, but you didn't bother to inform your boyfriend, concerned that he may attempt to leave and dodge your visit.

Urgently, you knocked on Taehyung's bedroom door, heart racing in anticipation of a fight. "Come in!" He shouted.

You opened the door and stepped inside, but even the click of the door shutting didn't compel him to look away from the game to see who his guest was. Impatiently, you cleared your throat.

When his eyes finally turned to you, they widened in surprise before narrowing into a scowl. "What are you doing here?" He asked.

The hostility in his voice made your heart clench, but you ignored it, focusing on your anger instead. "Wow! So, the boy does speak!" You sarcastically shouted, throwing your hands in the air as if it were a miracle.

Taehyung rolled his eyes and looked away. You scoffed. "It's been four days, Tae. What kind of question is that anyways?"

You ran a hand through your hair in frustration when he didn't answer, returning to his vow of silence. "Was I just not supposed to reach out while being ghosted by my boyfriend for half a week? I don't understand what you want from me. If you won't tell me what I did, I can't fix it."

You paused, giving him an opportunity to speak, but he said nothing. Having had enough of this one-sided conversation, you blurted out the question you've been too afraid to ask until now. "Is this your pathetic way of breaking up with me?"

It was the only explanation that made sense, but the way Taehyung's fearful gaze snapped towards you said otherwise. Though it was arguably wrong, you decided to use that fear against him for the greater good of getting answers and solving whatever this problem was in your relationship.

"Well then," You sighed sadly. "You've gotten what you wanted. I can't read your mind and I'm done trying. Let's just end things here."

You began to turn away, provoking Taehyung to hastily stand from his seat. "No!"

You looked back at him, an eyebrow raised, inviting him to say more. "I am mad at you, but I don't want to break up with you." He vaguely explained, visibly panicked.

Your demeanor softened at the sight of him. You felt somewhat guilty for making such a severe threat, but his passive-aggressive behavior didn't earn him too much sympathy. "Okay, so why are you mad at me?" You asked.

Taehyung sighed and stared at the floor, clearly uncomfortable with the topic. Biting his lip, he lifted his head, but refused to meet your eyes. "I heard what you said...after the concert on Sunday."

You tried to rack your brain for what he could possibly be referring to, but nothing came to mind. You loved everything about that show and couldn't imagine having said anything negative. Finding yourself at a loss, you asked him to elaborate. "I'm sorry Tae, but I don't know what you're talking about. What did I say?"

Your boyfriend groaned. "The thing about Namjoon hyung."

His answer only left you more confused at first. "I don't remember saying anything about Nam – " That's when the memory hit you and you smacked your palm to your face.

While waiting for the boys to finish changing backstage after their concert was over, you and your best friend were fangirling about the show. Of course, you only truly had eyes for Kim Taehyung, but unfortunately you got caught up in the giddy energy of it all and made a thoughtless joke when your friend brought up how hot RM looked during "Trivia: Love." Your stupid response was "Right? I think I may have picked the wrong Kim."

Your stomach dropped at the memory. Even though you weren't serious when you said it, you should have kept your mouth shut. If the tables were turned and Taehyung said something like that about you and another girl, you would have found it far from funny. Would it have warranted the silent treatment? Probably not...but you would let his immaturity slide just this once.

"Tae, sweetie, I'm so sorry." You said sincerely, walking across the room to stand in front of him and take his hand in yours. "I was only joking, but that's no excuse. I can't believe I said that without even realizing how hurtful it sounded."

You dropped your head in shame and your eyes began to water at the thought of Taehyung going on and on about how excited he was to impress you the day before the concert, only for him to end up having to hear you joke about liking another man more than him when you should have been swooning over his amazing performance. It made you feel like the worst girlfriend in the world, but your boyfriend still stepped closer and wrapped his arms around you. Without hesitation you hugged him back, burying your face in his chest. "I'm so, so, so sorry." You apologized again, voice muffled. "Can you forgive me?"

"Of course, I can." He whispered, placing a kiss on the top of your head. "And I'm sorry that I didn't tell you what was wrong with me sooner."

"Why didn't you?" You mumbled against his shirt, still a little annoyed by his lousy communication skills.

You felt his chest rise and fall with a deep inhale and exhale as he tried to find the words to explain. "I don't know. I guess I was just too embarrassed to address it, but I still wanted to punish you for making me feel jealous and insecure. I shouldn't have reacted that way though, so, can you forgive me?"

"Of course." You nodded, pulling away slightly so that you could look at him and see the soft and loving expression on his face that you had been missing for too many days now. "Just promise me that the next time I say something stupid, you'll yell at me or something. I don't care. Just do anything other than ignore me because my heart can't take it."

Taehyung gave you a small smile before lifting his thumb to gently wipe some of your stray tears away. "I promise." He assured you, moving his hand to cup your cheek before leaning down to give you a sweet peck on the lips.

Your eyes remained closed, waiting for more, but he pulled away, smirking. "You have to promise me something too though."

"What?" You asked, suspicious of the mischievous glint in his eyes.

"No more watching Namjoon hyung's solo stages. You'll just have to turn around or leave the venue from now on whenever he performs without me."

You giggled at the absurdity of it but nodded to appease him for the time being. "Fine." You promised, wrapping your arms around his neck and rising on your tippy toes. "As long as I still get to see 'Singularity,' I suppose nothing else really matters." You joked before connecting your lips with his once again.
