Happy Mother's Day... Mums

Every year for as long as he could remember, Peter had only ever had May to give a gift to on Mother's Day. Money had always been tight, so he always had to give her a handmade card and gift. This year, however, there was May, Natasha, Carol, Pepper and Gamora to give gifts to, along with putting flowers and a card on Mary's grave. Tony was more than happy to lend Peter some money to spend on the presents, after all he was a billionaire. So that is how Peter ended up in the mall the week before Mother's Day with a wallet full of cash and no idea where to go.

He decided to get Gamora's gift first. She was always complaining about Peter Quill's taste of music, so he went to the store with the music tapes and got her a few; all the songs that she likes that Peter P listens to when she's on earth.

Next, Carol. He went to the model store and bought her a tiny model of the plane she used to fly. He knew how much those memories, however fragmented they are, mean to her.

Thirdly, he decided to get Pepper's. First, he picked up some ear-plugs. He and Tony weren't exactly quiet at sneaking around the tower at 2am and it must get annoying. He also picked up a blouse to replace the one that they accidentally set on fire and a picture frame to put a picture of her, Tony, Morgan and himself in.

He had already sorted Natasha's present. He had made her a new set of widow bites after hearing her complain about how they would occasionally just turn themselves on. It had been a bit hard at first to get the voltage right, but he got there eventually. He also added compartments for hidden knives that were made of a vibranium alloy that was just as light, undetectable by a metal detector and thin enough to slip into the inside of a sleeve, where it would stick.

For Aunt May, he set up a romantic meal for two with Happy. He knew it would mean the world to her that he was finally supporting their relationship.

Satisfied with his gifts, he got home, wrapped them and hid them all under his bed.

One week later
He gave Pepper her present first. She opened the earplugs and laughed, sending a playful glare at him. She then opened the blouse, which she loved and told him she would wear it today. When she opened the picture, she threw her arms around him and started crying. He patted her back awkwardly while nervously laughing, but then he began to relax into her embrace and hugged her tightly.
"I love you, Pepper," he whispered into her shoulder.
"I love you too, Petey," she replied, kissing his cheek.

He decided to give Carol her gift next. The model was in a small box, neatly wrapped with a bow on top. Peter had had to call MJ for help with the wrapping, but he had done the majority of it, and in his opinion he did a pretty good job. Carol tore the paper right down the middle and scrunched it up, setting it on the coffee table, where it would probably stay for the next couple of weeks. She examined the plane carefully before exclaiming that it's the exact same as the one she used to fly and it was amazing. They gave each other a one armed hug, gently, Carol not being one for much unnecessary touching.
"I love you, Pete,"
"I love you too, Carol."

Thirdly, he wanted to give Gamora her present. The tapes were individually wrapped and tied together. Gamora carefully untied the ribbon and set it down before carefully peeling the tape off each tape and folding the wrapping paper. (That's how I open presents and my brother always shouts at me and says I have issues, which is probably true😂😂) She read the name of each one and pulled Peter into a huge hug, kissing his forehead.
"I love you, Gamora,"
"I love you, Peter."

He decided to give Nat her present next. The widow bites were in a gift bag. She lifted them out gently, examining them.
"Woah, did you make these? Thank you so much Peter, I love them." He showed her the cool knife, which she immediately his up her sleeve, admiring the way it just stayed there.
