Peter walked sadly through a familiar path of stone and depression. He stopped in front of two grey gravestones and knelt down in front of them.
"Hey Mum, hey Dad. It's been twelve years now since you died. I brought you these flowers. Even though you probably can't see them. Well, I don't really know what to say, so I'm gonna sing instead.

"You've got a nice voice, kid. How come I've never heard it before?" A voice sounded from behind him. He knew that voice very well.
"Hey, Auntie Nat. What are you doing here?"
"Checking on you. You looked sad when you left this morning. And you still didn't answer my question."
"I just don't usually like singing in front of people in case they laugh at me. And it's my parents death anniversary today."
"I get it. It's tough to not have the people who are meant to care about you the most not here. Carry on singing."

"Okay...

The pair both had tears streaming down their faces. Peter nestled his head into Natashas chest, needing the comfort of a motherly figure which she would gladly provide. Natasha stood up and offered a hand to Peter who took it gratefully.

They walked slowly through the rest of the graveyard in silence, Nat's arm wrapped around Peter. They left the two graves covered in flowers.

After Nat had found Peter at the graveyard, them singing together had become a regular occurrence. Especially if one of them was having a particularly bad day, like today. Peter had forgotten three sets of homework, had been paired up with Flash in chemistry and wasn't left alone by any of the bullies of the school.

When he got home, he made a beeline for Nat who was sat on the sofa with Steve, Tony, Bucky, Wanda and Clint. He sat down right beside her and she enveloped him in a hug. The others were looking on curiously, not quite sure what was happening to their stony faced Nat.

After a quick glance at the others, Nat decided it was worth the risk and began to sing.
