XXXIV // Flying Cartwheel

My dad wasn't super happy that I decided to run off to Hudson Valley with the boys and Kelsey. I had to convince him that everything was alright and that the wedding was ready to go for tomorrow. I had to convince myself that. 

Corbyn looked at me and smiled, a nervous smile. He was just as nervous as I was walking up the steps of the wooden cabin. "You knock."

"Why do I have to knock?"

"Because your her sister in law, I am just a guy who happens to know her secret." I sighed as we walked to the door. 

My hand-formed into a fist and ready to knock, "WE ARE OUT THE BACK NOAH AND CORBYN!" I knew it was Katherines voice. Corbyn grabbed my hand and nodded as we walked around the deck towards the backyard of the cabin. 

We came around the corner and saw Jenny and Isiah running around the garden with Katherine pushing Yasmin on the swing. She smiled and ran up to me, squeezing me into a hug. "How is he?"

I pulled away from the hug, "CORBYN!!" Jenny yells. Jenny jumps into Corbyn's arms and Corbyn smiled squeezing her. "Come play!" Jenny says pulling Corbyn away from Katherine and I. 

"What do you think Kath? You left your fiance without a word or a trace," I explained. She sighed and sat on the steps. I sat beside her and placed my hand on her back trying to comfort her, "Come back Kath."

"I can't. Owen was released out of prison and ran straight away. They only have me, Noah. Mom is getting too sick to take care of them and who knows where their mom is. I have to take care of them." It was crazy to think that Katherine was roped into her brother's mistakes, taking care of his kids and her mom. Not to mention having to have a secret life away from Nathan. 

"What if they come back with us? Live with us? Dad and his new wife will be away on a honeymoon cruise. Norman will be out all summer living his life. I will stay with Kels. Nate and you and the kids will have the house long enough for you to find a place, he would understand." I explained. Katherine looked up to the kids running around the garden with Corbyn who was now holding Yasmin and chasing after the twins. 

"Go call him, we will watch the kids," I say handing her my phone. She looks down at the phone in my hands and nods. She hugs me tightly before walking off with my phone. 

Corbyn looks over to me. He walks towards me and sits beside me. "This is crazy."

I nod and take Yasmin from him, "I think it is all sorted."

"I hope so. Nate loves her,"

"Yeah, he really does."

Zach smirks as he holds onto the power of the jetski, "You ready Kelsey?" He yells. His intentions were clear as he begins to speed off with Kelsey sitting in the donut behind the jetski. 

Daniel wrapped his arms around me, "That is crazy, so that is where you guys were this morning?" I nod my head. 

Jonah looks at me holding a can of sprite, he nods asking if I wanted one. I nod. He throws the can and being the great catcher I am, I miss it. The can flies past my hand and into Daniels's face. "OW!" Dani says jumping up for revenge. 

We were currently at Lake George for the day before flying back tomorrow morning, "She didn't catch it!!" Jonah screams running from Daniels revenge. Daniel chases Jonah into the water and tackles him. 

"Come on Lakeheart we can't be the only ones not in the water," Jack says grabbing my hand and pulling me towards the water. I smile and willingly walk into the water. 

"SLOW DOWN ZACHARY!!" Kelsey yells from the donut. Zach ignores her and begins to speed up as he reaches a corner. He turns pretty fast making Kelsey fly off the donut. I begin to laugh as she cartwheeled off the donut. 

"Next time we do not make Zach in charge of the jet ski," Kelsey says as she starts to swim towards us. "What you laughing at?"

"Did you see yourself? You did a flying cartwheel it was the funniest thing I have ever seen," I say in between laughs.

Kelsey smirks, "Says the one who far-" I widen my eyes and jump onto her trying to shut her up. She pushes off me and begins to run to shore. "You fart-"

"SHUT UP!! I AM GONNA KILL YOU!" I say running after her. She jumps onto one of the quad bikes sitting by the shore and drives it off in a hurry to get away from me. I follow in pursit and jump on the other one.

"This is like some bay watch scene," Zach says from the shore where the boys were following. 

"Zach stop daydreaming about Daniel and my girlfriends," Corbyn replies. These things were really hard to control sometimes. Kelsey pulls her quad round to face me. We both brake and turn the quads off deciding a dull wasn't one of the best ideas. 

She jumped off the quad and I jumped off following. She walked up to me allowing me to tackle her to the floor. When we reach the floor we both start laughing. The boys all run up to us laughing on the ground. "You guys alright?" Jack asked. 

Kelsey and I laughed again, "Two girls in bikinis tackling one another, I feel like I needed my camera for that." We all look at Zach and sigh. The boys all look at one another and grab Zach. "Put me down!!"

Before I knew it Zach was thrown into the lake. I laugh with Kelsey still out of breath on the ground. Things were finally getting back to normal.

Zach brushed my hair as I sat in front of him on a bean bag in the living room of the lodge we were staying in. Jonah was plugging in the laptop to the TV and bringing a movie up. Corbyn and Kelsey decided to go on a date tonight leaving us five to watch Camp Rock 2 reminding us of our time watching camp rock in NYC. 

Daniel sat on the couch with the popcorn and Jack was cooking oven pizzas. "I think I burnt it."

I sat up and pulled myself away from Zach, "NOAH HELP ME!!" Jack yelled from the kitchen. I sighed and jumped off the bean bag. Zach took that as an opportunity to take the bean bag for himself. 

"Why did we trust Jack with cooking the pizza?" Zach asked. I walked up to Jack who was opening the oven. I looked at the pizza and smiled. 

"It is fine Jack," I grabbed an oven mitt and pulled the pizza out of the oven and onto plates. "Just cut them and it should be all good." I shut the oven and turn it off before Jack could 'burn' anything else. 

"Anyone want a drink?" I say. All the boys put their hands up. I open the fridge and pull out the cans of sprite. "Hey Jonah, Catch," I say. 

Jonah looks up, "Don't you dare." I smiled and carried the cans into the living room. I placed them on the table as Jack placed the pizza beside them. I grabbed a couple of slices and a can and sat in between Daniel's legs. 

Daniel kisses my neck and brings his lips up to my ear, "You wearing that set again?" I widen my eyes and realise what was on this boys mind. 

"You have to find out," I whisper back. 

"Don't tease me Lakeheart," He says kissing my neck again. I turn around to him and pass him the other piece of pizza I had in my hand. 

"Later Seavey," I wink. 

Jonah jumps on the bean bag beside Zach, "Okay let's remember, I am 100%, Kevin."

"Why do you always get to be Kevin?" Jack says. I laugh and place the pizza in my mouth, it is good to be back with the boys and in Dani's arms. It was like when we all first met. Nothing had changed. Nothing happened. 

"He is right your more of a Nick," Daniel says joining in on the conversation. Jonah turns around to Jack, Dani and I. 

Zach looks at us, "I am definitely the uncle." We all stare at Zach and start to laugh. We were back to our normal.
