( CHAPTER FOUR )

Hailey Henderson waits outside Hawkins' Middle for her little brother. The bell had rung ten minutes ago and she hadn't seen Dustin or any of his friends. She worries a little, maybe something had happened, she had thought.

Her mind comes up with different situations, she had gotten a bit protective over all four of them ever since last year. She had put her bike on the bike stand, where all three bikes stood. She knew that Will gets rides with either Joyce or Jonathan now.

She decided to go into the Middle school, she almost cringed at the memories that come into her mind. She had to pause, the memories hit her hard and she groans a little, bending over and holding her head. What the hell...

The memories had stopped and she heaves out a sigh, standing straight again. Hailey had looked down the hallways and she blinked a few times, not believing her eyes.

There stood Eleven, her hair had grown into short curls, she wore jeans, converse's, a jacket and a grey t-shirt with a red collar. Eleven made eye contact with Hailey, Hailey's mouth fell open. Hailey blinked and before she could call out to her, Eleven had disappeared.

"Eleven?" Hailey called out, her throat a little scratchy. She runs down the hallways, she had to have seen her, she thought. "El!" She runs around the corner and skidded to a holt to find no one. She breaths heavily. "What the hell..."

"Hailey," she turned around to face her old teacher, Mr. Clarke. Hailey's eyes widened, remembering the weird conversation they had last year. "Hey, how're you doing?"

"I'm doing fine," she stuttered out, not making eye contact with Mr. Clarke. She cleared her throat. "Have you seen Dustin?"

"They might be in the AV Club," Mr. Clarke informed her. Hailey nods, knowing exactly where that was. She used to hang out there when she was Dustin's age.

"Thanks, Mr. Clarke," she rushed out before turning back around and going around a few more corner. She bursts into the AV Club room, finding it empty. She lets out a huff and shakes her head.

She exited the AV Club room and stood in the hallways thoughtfully. She ran back the way she came back and pushed opened the doors to outside, the bikes were still there. Then, where the heck was they?

Her mind whirled around, she knew something was wrong now. Something was 100% wrong and she couldn't find them to help them. She runs around the entire school in a panic and began to call our all of their names frantically.

She skidded to a stop outside the gym, she peered through the windows to see a redhead and Mike talking to each other. The redhead was kidding up from the ground, her skateboard rolling away. Mike helps her up.

She pushed opened the doors. "There you are!" It had shocked the two, causing them to both jump. "Where the hell have you been? Where's Dustin?"

"I don't know," Mike answered back truthfully, he knew that Dustin was around the school but he couldn't tell her exactly where. "Looking for Dart. He escaped."

"What?!" Hailey screeched out, her eyes widening. "I'm gonna kill that boy, I swear to God!"

Mike rolled his eyes. "Wait, so she knows about Dart too?" The redhead girl looked at Mike. "Who is she?"

"Hailey," Mike speaks. "Dustin's older sister."

"I'm Max," Max clearly said, her eyes scanning the beautiful brunette. She suddenly envied her looks.

"Enough with the introduction talk," Mike had snapped. "Let's just find Dart." They all had left the Gym.

"Guys, I found him," Hailey's head looked sharply at Mike's walkie-talkie, it was Will.

"Where?" Dustin questions.

"In the bathroom," Will speaks quietly. "In the bathroom by Mr. Salerno's." Hailey took off, leaving Max and Mike behind, she knew exactly where Will was talking about.

Dustin and Hailey had basically run into each other, Hailey lets out a squeal and Dustin lets out a scream. "What the hell, Hailey!" Dustin had cried out, his eyes widening.

"You took Dart to school," she threw him a glare. "I can't believe you actually took him to school; do you know how idiotic that is?!"

"I'm sorry!" He bursts out. "I needed to show the guys'! This is major!"

"I know its major," she snapped. "But did you ever think this could connect back to last year? You're letting this thing run wild!"

"I didn't let it run wild, he escaped!" The two Henderson begin to exclaim to each other, arguing.

"Let's just get Dart and go home," she had growled out and pushed opened the bathroom door and Dustin lets out an annoyed huff. Dustin had quickly walked in behind her, not wanting her to kill Dart.

To her surprised, she noticed the walkie talkie on the ground, abandoned. She knew it was Will's and picked it up. Hailey turned sharply on her heel, having a strong feeling that he was in trouble.

"Hailey-" She ignored Dustin and ran out of the bathroom, springing down the white-tiled hallways.

"Will!" She screamed out. "Will!" She had bumped into Joyce, who looked at her with concern.

"Hailey, have you seen Will?" She questioned, panic in her voice.

Hailey went to reply, but Lucas had interrupted them, bursting through the two doors that led to the field. "The field!" He pants, Dustin and Max had come up behind them and they all begin to sprint to the field.

Mike shakes Will who seemed to be frozen. "I just found him like this!" Mike exclaims nervously. "I think he's having another episode!"

Ever since coming back from the Upside Down, Will hasn't been the same. I mean, could you blame him? He was stuck in there for months, he almost died. This ended up 'causing Will to have all these episodes of the Upside Down.

The whites of Will's eyes are barely visible and below his lip twitches. Joyce had grabbed ahold of her son's shoulders. "Will!" Joyce called out to him, shaking his shoulders. "Will! Will! Sweetie, wake up, it's Mum!"

Hailey, Max, Dustin, Mike, and Lucas all watched with concern, feeling useless that they couldn't help. Joyce kept calling for Will's name, trying to get him to snap out of his episode. After 15 calls later, Will gasped awake; his eyes shoot open.

Joyce escorts Will out carefully, they had all followed them out to the car, watching as Joyce and Will get inside the car.

"Okay, that totally freaked me out," Max had said. "Did that not freak you guys out?"

"Two episodes in two days," Lucas counted.

"It's getting worse," Hailey whispered fearfully. Sure, earlier in the year there would be maybe one or two a month, but now two in two days? This is not good, at all.

"You think its True Sight?" Lucas questions them. Hailey almost rolled her eyes.

"What's True Sight?" Max questioned, oblivious to the whole situation.

Mike shakes his head at Lucas, warning him, telling him not to tell Max. "It's nothing." Lucas brushed it off.

They shift their attention to Joyce's car as it reverses on to the road. Hailey bites her lower lips in thought; she's going to have to keep a close eye on Will whenever she can.
