2019 Fluffvember - Day One (Tumblr Piece)

Walking out of the Shiratorizawa school building, I stretch my arms above my head and arch my back slightly with a small yawn. Though I acknowledge my school's reputation, I didn't expect the faculty members to be so harsh on us students, even in third year.

"Damn..." I groaned quietly, beyond exhausted at this point. "It couldn't hurt to give myself a break, would it?.." I questioned to myself, near enough silent. Deciding that, no, it wouldn't kill me,  I set off home and pulled out my phone to text my boyfriend since second year, Ushijima.

Me:

Hey, Wakatoshi! I've decided to give myself a break from my constant studying and wanted to know if you wanted to stay at my place for a bit after your practice. Love ya!! <3

After sending the message, I safely placed my phone into my pocket and set off home.

Once at my small apartment, I dragged my body to my room and collapsed onto the soft  mattress and quilt face first, basking in the comforting feeling of cold, soft, untouched sheets. "Now what?.." I thought silently. "I'm not doing any work at all, so that's not on the list... Ugh. I've still got well over an hour and a half to wait for Toshi..." 

Just as the thought crossed my mind, a knock sounded at my apartment door. With and unknowing hum, I dragged myself away from the comfort of the bed and to the entry way of my living space. I wasn't expecting any visitors today, was I?.. Toshi shouldn't be here yet, either.

Opening the door, sure enough, my boyfriend stood in his normal uniform woth his school bag slung over his shoulder.

"Babe, aren't you supposed to be in training?" I asked shocked. "I must be losing my mind. I'm sure Tendou said you had practice today..." I mumbled, looking down at our shoes as my eyebrows furrowed out of confusion. I heard Ushijima let out a low chuckle as his hands went to cup my cheeks and make me look at his face.

"No, you're correct. I was meant to be with Tendou today." He admited bluntly.

"Why are you here, then!?"

"Well, I haven't had time to be with you alone recently." He shrugged casually, while I stood in shock. "Plus, Tendou said it would be fine." He continued, kissing the crown of my head quickly while one of my hands went to hold his while it rested on my left cheek. I could feel the heat from his large hands and leant into his touch.

"Please don't do this again. It's not fair for you to ditch your friends just for me." I sighed, feeling slightly guilty.

"Alright. Just this once." He promised, smiling ever so slightly at my peaceful expression. "I brought you a few things before I got here, so I think we should go inside."

"Ok then..." I replied as he moved his hand away, causing me to instantly miss his warmth.

We both walked inside of my apartment and Wakatoshi sat on the small sofa that rested in the middle of my living room.

"I'm just gonna change. I won't be a minute." I called over my shoulder as I walked into my bedroom.

Not long after, I stepped out again wearing my comfy pyjamas. Looking around the living room area, I noticed that there were sweets and miscellaneous products from (fave cosmetics brand/shop). Looking across the room to where my small bathroom is, I see my boyfriend walking out woth casual clothes on and his folded uniform in his hands.

"What are you doing, Toshi?" I asked, smiling as I crossed my arms under my chest. He walked over to his bag and placed his uniform in it before he answered.

"I wanted to treat you tonight because you've been working hard for weeks without a break. Is that ok?" He asked, completely serious as he walked over to me. Smiling, I wrap my arms around his torso and rest my head on his chest.

"Of course it is. It's very sweet of you to do this for me." I replied as I relaxed into his body, savouring his warmth and the feeling of his arms wrapping around my waist as I listen to his heart beat. Leaning up slightly, I just manage to kiss the underside of his jaw. "What's the plan then, baby?" 

"That's the thing. I don't know what to do with any of this." He started, gesturing to the table in the middle of the room. "I've just seen you buying them, so I figured that you like them."

"Aw, you're so cute when you want to be!" I cooed, struggling to suppress my laughter. "I can show you, if you'd like."

"Ok. Then I'll know for future reference." He said.

As the night went on, I allowed Ushijima to do my hair, nails and put a face mask on me. Well, I say allowed, but it was more of me trying to say I could do it myself while he insisted that he do it for me. I let him do my nails how he liked, but he just ended up using my favourite colour anyway. God bless this man, he's too good to me.

Now, I'm cuddled up with Wakatoshi on my bed with my head resting soundly on his chest while we watch videos on the small TV on the other side of the room.

"Toshi," I start, getting his attention. "Thank you for today. You're just too good for me and I love you so, so much." I said, turning slightly in his embrace.

"It was my pleasure, sweetheart." He replied, leaning over to kiss my lips as his arms remained around my small torso. His lips fit onto mine perfectly as I felt his grip around me tighten slightly. After he had pulled away, it took me a second to catch my breath and open my eyes. He gave me a soft smile as I lay my head down again. "I love you too. Now  get some sleep. It's late." He said, kissing the crown of my head. Right after, I fell into a comfortable sleep.
