2019 Fluffvember - Day Four (Tumblr Piece)

Pairing: Todoroki Shouto x Fem! Reader

Sitting in a circle with my class, I glance around the group of us sat on the floor of Heights Alliance and then to the pile of cards and empty plastic bottle in the centre of the room.

"Denki, do we have to play truth or dare?" I asked, giving an exasperated sigh right afterwards. We were stuck in the dorms yet again due to the rain hammering down outside and Kaminari suggested that we play truth or dare with the cards he had bought the week prior to this. Naturally, most of the class agreed and this is how I'm sat where I am now.

As stated, we're all in a large circle on the floor and I'm sat between Midoriya and Todoroki. Admittedly, I do have a major minor crush on Shouto, but that's why I don't want to play. God only knows what kind of embarrassing things I will be told to do or questions I'm made to answer.

"Of course! What, you scared?" He asked smugly, causing you to scowl and glare at him.

"No."

"Then you have no reason to leave!" He cheered, causing me to scoff and cross my arms over my chest.

"Let's just get this over with." That being said, the game commenced.

The rule was that you pick a truth or dare card, depending on which you pick. If you forfeit, you have to pick a new card of the same category and you must do what it says, wether you want to or not. Whoever did the last truth or dare, gets to spin the bottle.

Most of us have had a turn now, the only people who hadn't fallen victim to this stupid game was me and Todoroki, as Midoriya was sitting to the left of Tsu and she had been dared to kiss the person to the left. Neither of them seemed to mind, though, which was nice. They do make a cute couple, I must admit.

Anyway, it was currently Mina's turn to spin the bottle, and it landed on me. God help me.

"(Last Name)! Truth or dare?" She asked.

My thought process was 'surely a truth could end worse than a dare' so I picked;

"Dare." Mina hands me the card, and I turn it over to read it aloud. "Sit on the lap of the person to your right..." I read out. Slapping the card onto the forfeit pile, I pick out a new one and read it again. "Sit on the lap of-- Denki, did you even shuffle these!?" I ask.

"Should I have? What does it say?" He asks, just as smug as before. I'm almost certain he knows what he's doing by now. Groaning in annoyance, I go back to reading the card in my hand.

"Sit on the lap of the person to your left for the rest of the game."

"Ha! You have to sit on Icy Hot and you can't even forfeit!" Bakugou taunted, causing you to glare at him as your face flushed.

"Shut it, Blasty! At least I don't have to kiss Kiri!" I snapped back, getting him to shut up. With a small sigh, I shuffle over and sit on Todoroki's lap without a word.

The game continued and no one even acknowledged either my or Todoroki's presence in the room.

"This is stupid... I'm going to my room." I muttered under my breath, about to stand up and leave, when I felt a pair of arms tighten around my waist and a face bury between my shoulder blades.

"Don't go." Was what I thought I heard, but it was almost completely muffled by my shirt. Naturally, that made my face flush and I lost my cool completely.

"Sh-- I-I mean, Todoroki, what are you doing?" I asked in a hushed tone.

"I like having you here. Stay, at least for a little while."

"U-uhm... I..."

"Please?.." Damn it, how can he be this cute!? He's always been intimidating!

"O-ok..." I gave in, laying my arms kcer his as I made myself comfortable in his embrace.

"Thank you." He replied, sighing against my back.

**The Next Day**

Walking into the kitchen to make myself some coffee, I see that Todoroki has beaten me to it.

"Mornin', Todoroki..." I yawn, rubbing my eyes with my knuckles as I step next to him.

"Good morning, (Last Name). I would like to... Apologise for yesterday." He said, blushing lightly and scratching the back of his neck sheepishly.

"But you didn't do anything..." You replied.

"I... um... Hugged you... Remember?" He pointed out sheepishly. Again, I'm still confused.

"So? Your hugs are really nice. Though, it did seem a little out of character for you." I pointed out, starting to make my coffee.

"R-really? Um... Well, that's good to hear..." He started, thinking for a moment before he began speaking again. "Would you... Possibly be open to go on a date with me?"

"Wait, really?" I asked in surprise, smiling gleefully. "Heck yeah, I would!" I cheered, throwing my arms around his neck and hugging him.

And that's how playing truth or dare got me a loving boyfriend. :)
