As a third year, Suga had decided to get an apartment with his girlfriend of the last few years. What he didn't know when he decided to do this was that his apartment would constantly smell of sweet treats like cakes and cookies.

Turns out that you loved baking just as much as he loved to play volleyball. Though, he had never caught you baking, he was always the first to try any confecfionaries you had made.

Today, he had stayed particularly late for a practice and was only just opening the apartment door, when the smell of warm vanilla hit him. With a small hum, he smiled and walked into the small kitchen suite of your small living space to see you smiling away as you made buttercream icing with a pair of headphones resting on your head.

Deciding to surprise you, Suga slowly made his way over to you and wrapped his arms around your waist, making you jump out of your skin as you turned to him. Seeing it was just Koushi, you relaxed and leant your head back to rest against his shoulder. Despite this, you continued the task you were doing before.

"You're a bit late, Koushi." You remarked, taking your headphones off and leaving them on the kitchen work surface as your boyfriend continued to cling to you.

"I know, babe..." He sighed, hiding his face in the crook of my neck. "Practice ran long... Again..." With a giggle, you ruffled his hair a little right before going back to baking.

"It's all right, Suga. All I ask is that you're happy and don't over-work yourself." You smiled. You heard a small hum from Suga and he lifted his head to rest his chin on your shoulder.

"What are you making?"

"Just a Victoria Sponge cake. I was bored, so I just started baking." You shrugged, grabbing a spare spoon from the cutlery drawer and scooping some of the icing on it. "Here, tell me what you think." After trying the butter cream, Suga kissed your cheek before walking off.

"Great as always, honey."
