Flopping onto my bed, I sighed as I closed my eyes lightly and didn't bother to change out of my kit. Honestly, dealing with that King and midget is a task and a half. And on top of that, I had to play volleyball with them today.

My phone started ringing and I answered it, already knowing it was my girlfriend (Name). We were supposed to have a date today, but practice ended late.

"Kei, Are you ok? You didn't answer my calls earlier."

"I didn't have any calls from you."

"Oh! Sorry, then. I guess my signal was bad or something. Anywho, you still wanna come over for tonight?"

"I'm exhausted." I sighed. "I don't plan on moving until tomorrow morning." Hearing a light giggle through the speaker, I smile to myself slightly.

"Aww, poor Kei. Playing a sport with people he doesn't like and getting tired." (Name) joked sarcastically, making me laugh with her. "I can come over with my phone and speaker now, if you'd like. We can just cuddle all night with some music on."

"Hm... Sounds good, babe." I replied, using a nick name that I usually wouldn't.

"'Kay, I'll be there in ten!" (Name) announced happily. "Love ya, Tsukki."

"I love you, too." I reply.

(Name) hung up the phone and turned up at my house on my a few minutes later. I heard Akiteru open the door and yell up the stairs.

"Kei, your girlfriend is here!"

"Still tired, babe?" She asked, brushing her hand through my hair. I let out a tired hum and leant into her touch as she giggled. "Why are you still wearing your glasses? You might damage them." She scolded lightly as she took them off of me and placed them on my bedside table.

"Oh well..." I sigh. "Come here." I say, pulling her close to me by the waist as she yelps.

"A little warning would be nice."

"I don't care. Just cuddle me already." I heard her sigh and she shuffled to lay down in my embrace, resting her head on top of mine as she continued to play with my hair.

"What did you do today?" She asked, probably just trying to make some kind of conversation. I know she doesn't like it when it's too quiet and she always feels the need to have some kind of background noise.

"Not much different... I just went to class and plated volleyball... What about you?"

"I had my music results back." She smiled, seeming proud of herself. "I got a distinction in my vocal exam and a merit in my piano."

"So you can sing. You keep saying you can't."

"Yeah. I have a very limited vocal range."

"Can you show me?" I ask, feeling (Name) place a soft kiss on the crown of my head.

"Maybe tomorrow. Why don't you sleep for now?" She suggested. Sighing, I complied and got more comfortable.

"Fine..." I sighed. I've been trying to get her to sing for me for weeks, and every single time, she tells me she can't sing. Just as I was about to drift off to sleep, I heard (Name) singing.

I smiled as I listened to her and she brushed my hair with her hand absent-midedly. As suspected, she was actually really good. Why the heck does she say she can't sing? When she finished, I felt her kiss the top of my head again.

"Was that any good?" She asked.

"It was perfect." I smiled with a yawn. "I love you, (Name)."

"I love you, too, Kei."
