Standing in front of her door, I straightened my shirt and held the bouquet of (fave flowers) behind my back. I took in a deep breath right before I knocked the door. God, she hasn't even seen me today and I'm already this nervous... It's not even our first date together anyway!

Sighing at my own actions, I hear the door unlock and (Name) steps into the doorway.

"Hey, Tadashi! Youre here early." She beamed, making mg heart jump out of my chest. She didn't even look dressed up or fancy. She was just in her usual jeans and t-shirt (with/without) make-up. Realising that u was staring, I clear my throat and hold the flowers in front of me.

"Y-yeah... I-- um... Wanted to hang out for a bit before we left." I replied, cursing myself for the stutter as my girlfriend took the flowers.

"Tadashi, these are so nice!" She exclaimed, holding the flowers close to her in one hand as she took one of mine with the other. I felt my face heat up at the action as she pulled me inside. "Wait in the living room and I'll be back in a minute. We have an hour until the film time, so we can just cuddle until then."

After she left, I sat down on the sofa happily as I wanted for her to come back. When she did, she didn't waste a second before burying her head in my chest and laying on top of me. As a result, my heart raced and my face turned red.

"Babe, are you ok?" She asked.

"Y-yeah. Just..." I paused, trying to find an appropriate response. "Nervous..." I sigh. I hear a giggle and feel (Name) lean up to kiss my cheek.

"Babe, you don't need to! We've been together since middle school." She pointed out.

"Y-y-yeah!" I yelp. "I-it's just that w-we're teenagers now a-and there are so many cool guys around, I don't understand how--"

"Babe, it's fine." (Name) said happily, cuddling into my chest again as I rested my head on top of hers. "You're the only one for me. Plus, this is who you are, and you shouldn't change. I love you, Tadashi." She sighed happily. I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding and buried my face in her hair.

"I love you, too..." I reply. I guess, no matter how long we spend together, she'll always give me butterflies and make my heart skip a beat.
