"Look at him, look at how his fluffy hair bounces while he runs across the field and oh my god he's playing shirtless." I sighed as I watched my crush Jaehyun the captain of the boys varsity team.
"Girl! You're drooling and second we have our own practice to do! You didn't fight with the boys to give us part of the field just so you could stare at your crush." My best friend Jamie nudged me snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Right." I stood up, I had to be a good example for the girls as their team captain. I noticed all the other girls staring at the rest of the boys practically drooling at them but hey I couldn't judge.
"Come on ladies let's start with some basic warm ups jog in place." I told the girls who immediately did as told.
Jamie and I watched them as we talked.
"You know rumor has it that Jaehyun likes you too." She said, I rolled my eyes.
"No, you're pulling my leg stop it." I muttered making her laugh.
"I'm not! I heard from Jessica who heard from Lizas boyfriend Mark who heard it from Johnny who was told by Jaehyun that he likes you." She listed.
It took me a minute to process the cycle and all the names before I understood.
"I don't believe it, I'm sure they all just passed that rumor knowing it'd get back to me and I'd make a fool out of myself." I muttered. "Okay now give me two laps!"
The girls ran off. "Okay would I like to you? No I wouldn't and I want you and Jaehyun together just as much as you like him."
That was true, Jamie has been 'shipping' us since the beginning of college.
"Well if that's true and he really does like me then why doesn't he just ask me out? We're not in highschool anymore we're all adults now." I pointed out.
"Right. I'm sure he's just trying to work up the courage." She patted my back. "Okay now lets actually get some practice in our game is on Saturday."

"Hey Dylan. Um are you coming to my game tomorrow?" Jaehyun asked, his cheeks were flushed from the running and beads of sweat dripped from his face, he was wearing a shirt now.
"Wouldn't miss it." I smiled shyly. "Who are you guys playing against?"
"The jerks from Itaewon university." He rolled his eyes.
"Didn't you date a guy from there?" Jamie asked me.
