Blair had seemed extremely grumpy today, guess I can't really blame her all things considered. I had hoped she'd text me saying she was waiting for me to pick her up or for me to come over or anything really, but she still hasn't.

"Hey, so I was wondering if you'd wanna go get drinks so I can get to know you better, I'll buy." Sarah smiled at me as she packed up her stuff

Blair would be pissed but honestly she was my co-worker and I'm allowed to have friends.

"Yeah sure, I just can't stay out too late." I replied grabbing my bag

She smiled for the hundredth time today "Alright sweet, Bennie's Pub, it's right downtown."

"I know the place, I'll meet you there." I nodded as she left the room

I had made it there only a few minutes after her and she had bought our first round already.

"There you are!" She smiled as I sat on the stool next to her

I looked down at my drink, gin and tonic my favorite "How did you know what my favorite drink was?"

"Lucky guess," She shrugged taking a sip of hers "and it's my favorite as well."

"No offense but until you invited me here I really didn't think you were twenty one." I said causing her to laugh

She leaned back on the bar stool a bit "I get that a lot, I'm sure you do as well."

"I do." I nodded with a laugh before taking a sip of my drink

Best taste in the world, besides Blair that is.

"So are you single?" She questioned, causing me to nearly choke on my drink "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine." I coughed out before clearing my throat "Why are you asking me that?"

"Sorry I don't mean to overstep, I just think you're really cute." She mumbled out, her face now bright red

"I'm seeing someone." I stated before taking another sip of my drink

She grinned, something I had yet to see until now "Is it exclusive?"

"Yes." I nodded

She seemed upset but she recovered quickly "I'm so sorry, I also shouldn't even assume you're into girls."

"I am into girls." I blurted out

A smirk was now plastered to her face "Oh."

"Also still seeing someone though." I clarified awkwardly

~1 Hour later~

I still hadn't received a text from Blair when I got home and I actually felt kind of guilty for going out with Sarah even though I had completely shut her down.

"You're home." Blair's voice broke my thoughts as she entered from the back door

I frowned slightly "How long have you been in my backyard?"

She shrugged, not looking at me "A few hours."

"So since you got out of school?" I questioned

"Yup." She nodded putting her hands in her pockets "Where have you been?"

"Well, I was..." I stuttered out causing her to look up at me confused "I was at the bar."

"Why?" She asked raising her eyebrows in confusion
