We had settled into a circle in the living room for a game of truth or dare at some point during the night and played a few rounds. Alice seemed to be having a lot of fun and I was just enjoying the time with her in my intoxicated state. We had taken way too many Jell-O shots, smoked a shit ton of weed, and luckily hadn't seen anyone from school that we recognized.

"Hey baby." Alice giggled as she came out of the bathroom

I grinned at her "Hey to you too."

She was beyond trashed, she was more fucked up than I was when I jumped in the pool. She looked adorable though in her costume and all I'd been able to think about for the past few hours was getting her home and in bed. There was a decent chance we were both too fucked up to actually do anything but who knows how we'll feel by the time we get home.

"I wanna go find that skinny boy." She whined as she started pulling me towards the stairs to go back down to the party

I giggled letting her pull me "You mean the white boy that uses the N-word like he's got a pass or something."

"No, the blonde one." She grumbled as we slowly descended the stairs

Once we reached the bottom I looked over at her "Alice that's like a quarter of the boys here."

"The one with the drugs." She groaned walking into the kitchen

At this point I was dying laughing "That only narrows it a tiny bit."

She stopped dead in her tracks and looked at me seriously "I want the one with acid."

Was this girl joking?

"Acid?" I questioned surprised

She giggled "I love acid."

Who was this girl and what did she do with Alice? I really couldn't see her being big on drugs but then again we'd never talked about anything past weed, not that weed is a drug.

"Have you even done it before?" I questioned as she poured us another drink using the liquor on the counter

She rolled her eyes handing one cup to me "Yes of course I have."

"You've never mentioned it before." I stated, taking a sip of the sweet rum and coke she had mixed for me

She laughed softly and leaned back against the counter swaying slightly "I used to be wild."

"Oh really? I can't picture you being wild." I chuckled as she slipped and dropped her drink

"Are you okay?" I asked helping her up from the now rum and coke soaked tiles

She seemed embarrassed not looking at me "You don't think I'm fun?"

"Alice that's not what I meant." I stated before grabbing some paper towels and trying to dry her off

Her make up was extremely smeared now and half of her face was recognizable more than I liked.

"You said you can't picture me being wild." She pouted crossing her arms over her chest

I sighed and then whispered quietly into her ear "Alice we can fight about this later if you want but we need to leave now."

"Why?" She groaned dramatically

I rolled my eyes at her childish intoxicated behavior "Because your makeup came off and I don't want anyone to recognize you."

Her eyes went wide and she took my hand dragging me through the living room and then out the door

The cool air of the night felt good, refreshing for someone who had been crammed into a crowded house all night. Our car wasn't too far but there was no way in hell either of us were driving. I looked down at my phone and realized that we had not stuck to the plan of leaving in time to catch a cab and groaned.

"What's wrong?" She mumbled wrapping her arms around my neck

"It's too late to call a cab so I need to call Callie." I sighed moving away from her and pulling my phone out

She didn't seem satisfied with that answer judging by the pout on her face "Why are you being so grumpy?"

"I'm not." I stated as I clicked Callies contact

After a few rings her tired voice came through the speaker "Blair what the fuck it's like one in the morning."

"I know I'm so sorry I woke you up but me and Alice went to a party at Dana's and the Cab companies already closed. Is there any chance you'd take us home, I can pay you." I explained in a very stuttered and clearly intoxicated way

"Fine I'll be there soon." She groaned causing me to smile happily

Alice smiled back at me, seeming to not realize that I was even on the phone "Thank you so much."

Callie ended the call and Alice looked at me confused "What are you thanking me for?"

"I was talking to Callie, she's picking us up." I replied laughing at her obliviousness

Callie arrived after a while and helped me get Alice in the backseat before I got in the passenger side next to her. I looked back and Alice was already drifting off to sleep with a cute innocent look on her face.

"You guys really know how to get trashed." Callie laughed as she headed towards Alice's house

~The Next Morning~

I had left a bottle of water and Tylenol on the nightstand closest to Alice before going to Dunkin to get us some breakfast. When I got back Alice was seated in the living room, hair still wet from a shower I assume she had taken while I was out.

"I got breakfast." I smiled holding up the drink tray and bag of food

She smiled timidly at me "Thank you."

"Of course," I said sitting next to her "Is everything okay babe?"

"I'm just embarrassed." She blushed taking her coffee from me

Why was she embarrassed, I mean she was drunk, everyone acts dumb when they're drunk.

"Why?" I questioned as I took her breakfast sandwich out and handed it to her

She unwrapped it and took a big bite moaning slightly as she chewed. I laughed at her and pulled mine out and followed suit.

"I just acted like a reckless teenager last night and that's not really me anymore." She shrugged before taking another bite

I nodded and then looked up at her "You were just having fun, last night was awesome. Don't beat yourself up over doing exactly what everyone else at that party was doing."

"Yeah I guess." She laughed before looking up at me "Did I actually take acid last night? I remember I was trying to get some but I really don't remember what happened after truth or dare."

"No you accidentally slipped and spilled your drink all over yourself which made your makeup smear. We left right after that so no one would notice you and Callie drove us home." I explained causing her eyes to go wide

"Oh thank god I haven't done acid since senior year of college." She stated seeming relieved

"So you actually have done acid?" I questioned surprised that it wasn't just a drunk idea

She nodded "I used to but as I said I haven't in a long time."

"Do you remember getting mad at me because I said you didn't strike me as the wild girl type?" I questioned with a chuckle

She laughed and rolled her eyes "No I don't, but piece of advice when dealing with drunk Alice, don't say she ain't wild cuz she is. Alice Winters is just a boring statistics teacher but Wild Winters is a fucking riot!"

"Wild Winters?" I giggled

She laughed softly "That was my nickname in college whenever I was drunk."
