I had barely finished setting up the date by the time 4:30 rolled around I was seriously rethinking the whole "see you at five" thing. I had packed everything we needed before leaving but Blair's house was still about a twenty-minute drive and I was getting extremely anxious. I wanted tonight to perfect for her, I wanted this to be a night to remember. I sped on the highway back to town and parked outside of her apartment before quickly touching up my makeup in the mirror. I hadn't been this nervous since the first date at her house and I was definitely way more anxious this time. I knocked on her door after running up and nervously tapped my foot as I waited.

"Hey." She greeted with a small smile once the door flung open "You look really nice."

Me? Blair have you looked in a mirror you look like a fucking angel. She had put on a pair of leggings and a cute white sweater with her hair up in a neat bun. I had sent her a text after school telling her to dress warm since we'd be outside the whole night and she really perfected the warm yet fashionable look.

"Thank you, you look as beautiful as always." I grinned as she stepped outside and closed the door behind her

She smiled as we headed towards my car "So where are you taking me tonight? You really should let me have a turn surprising you next time."

"It's a secret and I promise you can plan a secret date next weekend." I laughed as I opened her door for her

She blushed slightly and hopped in before I closed her door and did the same. I started the car and we remained in a comfortable silence for a few moments until I pulled away.

"I really wanna know where we're going." She pouted looking over at me

She looked adorable but I had come too far to spoil the surprise now.

"You will when we get there." I joked as I turned onto the entry ramp for the highway

She rolled her eyes "I wish you were bad at keeping secrets."

"I am usually." I mumbled as I focused on merging

We chatted the rest of the way and when we pulled into the campground her eyes were looking around curiously at everything.

"Are we going camping?" She questioned looking over at me

I laughed softly "Partially."

"We're here though so you should tell me now." She whined looking over at me

I rolled my eyes "Patience, it's right up here anyway so close your eyes."

"I don't want to." She giggled causing me to glare at her

"Close your eyes or I'll turn around." I stated slowing the car down

She pouted but closed her eyes "Fine you meany."

"You're so childish." I chuckled as I pulled up to our lot

"Stay there." I said as I turned the car off and went around to her side

I helped her out and to my surprise she still had her eyes closed as we walked.

I stopped and whispered in her ear "Open your eyes beautiful."

Her eyes fluttered open and took in the date I had spent a long time setting up. I had gotten a small table with two chairs that I had decorated with roses and rose petals as she had for our stay at home date. Lanterns lit up our entire lot and illuminated the small tent I had pitched with my friend Bonnie earlier.

"Wow Alice, this is so amazing." She spoke softly as if she was only half here "I can't believe you set all of this up for us."

"I wanted tonight to be perfect." I replied kissing her softly

When we parted she blushed and rolled her eyes "Everything is perfect with you Alice."

"Are you hungry?" I asked brushing a strand of hair behind her ear

She gave me a look "Is there a master chef hiding behind a tree or something."

"Yes and her name is Bonnie." I replied waving for Bonnie to come over from where her car was parked

She had taken this extremely serious and hadn't asked many questions about Blair beforehand. She had even bought a chef's coat just for this and as she walked towards us I could tell Blair was surprised that a chef was actually coming towards us.

"Holy shit." She whispered low enough for only me to hear

Bonnie smiled at us once she got closer "Hi you must be Blair, I'm Alice's friend Bonnie."

"It's nice to meet you." Blair smiled shaking her hand politely

Bonnie beamed happily "God Alice, you didn't tell me how beautiful your girlfriend is."

She's not my girlfriend, not yet at least.

I was now probably crimson from the blush I felt on my cheeks "We had a lot of other things to discuss for tonight."

"That we did," she laughed "you two take your seats and I will bring over the food shortly."

"Thank you so much Bonnie." I smiled

Blair smiled as well and laughed softly "Yeah, thank you so much, this date is amazing already."

"I'm glad, now you two lovebirds go take your seats." Bonnie said before heading back towards her car

She had already prepared our food and it was currently half balanced in her backseat, not that Blair needed to know that detail. I led Blair over to the table and smiled as I poured wine into each of our glasses, it was the same kind we had shared at my house many times.

"My favorite," She smiled once I set the bottle down "red wine truly is the only way to go."

"You're right there." I grinned raising my glass "I'd like to make a toast, to you Blair. I have enjoyed every minute with you even though it's been crazy. I can't imagine my life without you at this point and I'm so happy to have you here with me tonight."

She blushed and clinked her glass with mine before taking a small sip of the wine that left her lips dyed slightly red until she licked them.

"You truly are the most amazing woman I've ever met Alice." She blushed taking another sip from her glass

"I could say the same about you, Miss Collins." I joked feeling my anxiety spiking at what came next

I had purposely told Bonnie to wait a few moments so I could ask her. I had been thinking about it all week and my nerves had reached their peak at this point.

"You okay?" Blair asked seeming concerned

I smiled trying to regain my confidence "Yeah I'm good, Blair you know that I care about you a lot right."

She nodded "And you know I care a lot about you too."

"Blair, even though this relationship is completely unethical and could get me fired in seconds, I can't imagine a day without you. I'm falling for you Blair and I don't ever want to stop, will you please do me the honor of being my girlfriend?" I spoke softly, my voice cracking in a few places as I looked into the ocean blue eyes I'd come to love more than anything
