~The Next Day~

"Hey Blair." Ally greeted me as she walked up to me

I was still currently at my locker waiting for Callie who was running behind this morning.

I looked over at her and smiled "Hey Ally."

"I'm sorry about texting you, I should've just asked for your number myself." She stated with a blush

I smiled softly "It's okay Ally, I'm just kind of already seeing someone."

"Oh," her eyes went wide and her cheeks flushed a dark red "I'm so sorry, I didn't even really mean it like that specifically. I was hoping we could be friends, I mean I just don't have very many since I just moved here and you're really nice."

She seemed extremely nervous, not that I blamed her.

"You're good, we can be friends." I nodded as I spotted Callie coming up behind her

"You would not believe the morning I've had." Callie stayed as she opened her locker

I laughed turning to her "I guess you're gonna have to tell me then."

"My goddam car wouldn't start so I had to fucking walk and then it started raining out of no where and I got completely drenched. Then to top it all off Alice saw me trip and fall into a fucking puddle. She stopped to ask if I was okay and gave me a ride the rest of the way." Callie rambled while throwing her books into her locker with way more force than necessary

Well that explains why she currently looks like she got drowned and then thrown in a pile of mud.

"Who is Alice?" Ally questioned looking over at us

We both froze looking at each other until I spoke "She's um a friend."

"Is she the girl you're talking to?" Ally asked teasingly

This girl asks too many fucking questions.

"Hey girls!" Mike greeted us before turning to Ally with a smirk "Happy second day in hell Ally."

Usually Mike's relentless flirting with girls was annoying but today it was my saving grace.

~One Month Later~

Ally had turned out to be a great friend and had been hanging out with us constantly. It was nice having a gay friend for once, not that I care about my friends sexuality. Alice had eventually come around and stopped worrying about her which I was grateful for. We had just arrived in Florida and her dad picked us up at the airport this afternoon. The air was thick and muggy compared to back home in New York but it was just nice to get some fresh air after the flight. We drove for about an hour during which we made small talk with her dad who seemed happy as hell to have us staying with him for a few days. We pulled into the driveway of a small beach house and I smiled noticing the beach was directly out back. The house was painted a light blue with white windows and a large deck that wrapped around the entire house.

"Wow dad, this place looks amazing." Alice breathed out looking around as we got out of the car

He smiled "I'm glad you like it honey, gets a bit lonely by myself but I love it."

"By the time we leave you'll probably miss the peace and quiet." Alice joked as we grabbed our suits cases from the trunk

We went inside and I couldn't help but admire the modest decor of the house. It definitely had the beach vibe and all of the floors were hardwood, her dad explained it was so the sand didn't get stuck in the rug. He had made up the first room for us with a white bedspread and we placed our suitcases in the closet before getting dressed into our swimsuits. As I spun around Alice was already checking me out before my eyes scanned over her body. Her black bikini was rather skimpy, revealing her long tan legs and toned stomach. Her cleavage was showing so much that I was quite literally in a trance staring at her.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer." She teased as she turned around and grabbed a pair of sunglasses

Goddam her ass looks good.

"Who needs a picture when I can see the real thing." I grinned causing her to smile at me

We packed a cooler full of alcohol and then grabbed towels and a few chairs before heading out back. The waves were crashing rhythmically against shore as we set everything up and I couldn't help but smile as I looked over at Alice. She looked so beautiful, like she belonged here with her toes in the sand and her hair thrown back into a ponytail.

"Wanna go for a swim?" She asked as he dad plopped onto a chair

I nodded and she took my hand as we walked towards the water I hoped wouldn't be too cold.

She smiled looking over at me "I think my dad likes you."

"You think everyone likes me." I chuckled

She rolled her eyes "You know what I mean."

I nodded smiling as my toes hit the water "Yeah I do."

The water was surprisingly refreshing once we were in fully and the smile on Alice's face would've made it worth it even if the water was freezing. The water was now just below our shoulders and we were jumping waves as they came in a rhythmic motion that made me feel more relaxed than I had all month.

"Are you having fun so far?" Alice asked as another wave passed us

I nodded smiling over at her "Thank you so much for bringing me."

"I didn't think you'd be happy if I brought someone else." She chuckled

I glared at her "Who else would you bring?"

She rolled her eyes, laughing as she spoke "I forget how literal you are sometimes, Blair obviously there's no one else I would've brought with me."

"I know I was just messing, I do not take everything literally." I pouted

"Not everything." She grinned as we let another wave carry us up and then back down as it passed
