I had never understood why it was called heartbreak until now, it felt as though my heart had shattered into a million pieces. It took less than one minute and only two words for everything to go from everyday feeling like a dream to every second feeling like a nightmare. I felt a tear hit my hand and until now I hadn't even realized I was crying. I looked up spotting Blair's car parked in front of mine and took a deep breath. I was in no state to drive even after trying to calm down in the school parking lot for almost an hour. Every minute felt like an eternity and against my better judgement I had driven here without a second thought once the world wasn't spinning around me. I slowly stepped out and closed my door hearing loud music coming from inside her apartment. I carefully made my way up to her door and took a deep breath before knocking loud enough for the neighbors to hear.

The door swung open revealing a rather intoxicated Blair with a half dressed brunette on her arm.

"Oh my gawd, you didn't tell me you invited a teacher." The brunette said getting close enough for me to see how dilated her pupils were "This is totally crazy, oh my god I think the molly hit me."

"Blair I need to talk to you." I stated with as much confidence as I could considering the pit in my stomach that grew every second this girl arms were wrapped around Blair

Blair snorted slightly rolling her eyes "There's literally nothing to talk about Alice, go home."

"No." I stated crossing my arms

She licked her lips looking me up and down "Well I guess you could always join us."

Whatever shards of my heart that had still been intact shattered with the rest as those words left her lips.

"You didn't even give me a chance to explain what happened Blair, it was a fucking set up." I grumbled out coldly, closing my eyes and clenching my fists as I continued "I didn't even realize she was kissing me until it was happening and I pushed her away as soon as I did." I opened my eyes meeting hers and noticed they were softer now and shook my head "It's been an hour and you're already fucking some random girl and you have the audacity to ask me to join you for a fucking threesome. You know what, I don't even know why I came here, clearly you aren't who I thought you were."

"Alice wait I'm sorry." Blair whispered out reaching for my hand

I pulled it back scoffing at her "Don't touch me while you still have another girl literally hanging all over you."

She pulled her arm free of the spaced out burnettes grasp and took a step closer to me "Amber told me you had been sneaking around behind my back with her and I truly didn't believe it until I saw you kissing. Alice please, let's just talk about this."

"You should've talked to me before you went and fucked someone else." I cried out throwing my hand in the air as my tears came full force "I can't just let that go Blair."

"I didn't-" she started to say before I cut her off

"Let me just stop you there Blair, I don't wanna hear it." I stated coldly turning away from her "Have fun fucking your whore."

I quickly ran to my car ignoring her as she yelled out for me to stop. Once in my car I didn't wait, I just started up the engine and drove straight home trying to erase the image of her out of my mind.

~1 Month Later~

Christmas was only days away and I had no idea what I even planned to do. I hadn't had a full conversation with Blair since our fight and I missed her every second. The holidays just didn't seem special this year alone and as I sat next to my Christmas tree I admired the colorful lights illuminating the room. I observed the patterns and brightness and then I turned to look out my window to find Sarah walking towards my front door.

I quickly moved and opened it before she even knocked with a glare "What the fuck do you want?"

"I wanted to apologize, Amber had some dirt on me and was threatening to get the police involved if I didn't help her. I did have a crush on you but I would have never taken it as far as I did if it wasn't for Amber. She really is an evil bitch and I'm so sorry I helped her but I really didn't have a choice." Sarah stuttered out, her eyes not meeting mine

"Thank you for the explanation but It really doesn't matter anymore. You two literally ruined everything and no explanation is going to change that." I grumbled out trying not to raise my voice considering that my neighbors were on their porch

"I really am sorry Alice." She spoke softly, her voice cracking slightly

Sarah had quit her position sometime over the break and I hadn't seen her since, until now of course. She hadn't left an explanation other than the obvious, ruining my relationship with Blair.

"Sorry doesn't fix anything Sarah." I stated tapping my foot, anxious for her to leave

She looked down "I know that, I really do hope you can work things out."

"I'm not sure if we can." I stated as I slammed the door shut with a huff

"Alice come on please just talk to me!" Blair yelled loud enough for me to hear her from the other side of my front door

I leaned back against it, letting my head hit the wood that left a dull ache on impact.

"Alice please!" She yelled shakily "I care about you so much and I'm so sorry I should've let you explain."

You should have but you decided to lash out and hook up with someone instead.

"I'm not leaving until you open this door!" She yelled even louder

I can only imagine what my neighbors are thinking right now.

I sighed and spun around unlocking the door and swung it open "What Blair?"

She looked stunned for a moment, tears pooling in her eyes "Alice please, I know I really fucked up and I'm so sorry."

"You fucked her Blair, that's not something that just happens on accident." I yelled shaking my head to try and clear the image from my head "I can't even look at you right now if I'm being honest so please just fucking leave."

"Just so you know I didn't fuck her, but thanks for assuming the worst." She grumbled

"I learned it from you." I spat back watching her eyes turn to ice as I slammed the door closed
