The Lost Gem [Complete]

Chapter 7

Peridot P.O.V.

I opened my eyes and looked around the dark room. I looked up and a bright white blinded me. I rubbed my eyes and looked around. I looked around and saw my crashed ship.

[My ship? What is happening?] I thought as I looked around

I looked up and saw Lapis, and the Crystal Gems. I grinned and ran towards Lapis, crying. I went to hug her but I fell right through her body. I looked back up at the transparent Lapis. I looked around and the Crystal Gems looked transparent too. That's when I noticed her. I clenched my fists and hissed loudly. I watched as Jasper and Lapis fused. I gasped and jolted upwards. I screamed, glitching. I felt pain everywhere and looked behind me. The fauchet was dented pretty bad. I got out of the bathtub and headed towards the mirror, tripping over as I glitched. I looked in the mirror and gasped.

[M-My gem..it's cracked..?] I thought shocked as I carefully touched the deep cracks, which caused me to glitch pretty bad

I fell over, just as the door opened.

"Peridot! Are you okay? I heard screaming!" Steven said worried

"Ehhh, I slammed my gem on the-"I was cut off my forms painful glitching

Steven yelped and dragged me to the couch. The other gem ran over and gasped when they saw my deep crack. Steven licked his hand and healed my gem. They all sighed in relief, but I was not relieved. I screamed out in pain as something burst through my skull, and broke parts of my visor. I coughed out black ink, and looked at Steven, who was mortified.

"Peridot.." He said as tears slipped down his face "You're corrupted.."
