Hello, I hope you like this poem. As I have said before, feedback is always appreciated. Have a good day!

Poem written 19/04/20.

She goes to bed early
And doesn't lie in late
She can't wait to go outside
To explore and to create

She practises maths and music
And she excels in both
To do her best and never rest
Is her solemn oath

She sits in the sun for hours
Reading Twain and Barry Hines
And you will find no secrets
If you read between her lines

She's a dancer, take-a-chancer
Who knows just what to say
Her quirks are gone and she's not one
To take the easy way

She's a linguist and a sportsman
Who never wastes her time
She is the girl he wishes he had
And I wish she were mine
