It was around two am Kokichi was awake deep in though, his boyfriend Shuichi has been ignoring him and he has been acting cold towards him. This broke kokichi's heart he was on the verge of despair but kept you trying to think positive and he had hope just like his close friend Nagito told him about.

On the other hand Shuichi was just too tired to deal with us boyfriends shit after work, his cases were harder and harder as time went on and all he energy went into them totally forgetting of the smaller male. He did feel bad tho and every once in a while would cuddle with Kokichi until they were both asleep or at least he though both of them were asleep.

Shuichi woke up early as usual and got ready for work, he kissed Kokichi's forehead and left the house to his job. Kokichi woke up a few minutes later still disappointed that he couldn't wake up earlier than his boyfriend. Kokichi looked over at the calendar in his bed stand and grinned widely, today was shuichi's and Kokichi anniversary and Kokichi planned a 'little' surprise for his hard working boyfriend.

Kokichi got to work and started to set up everything around the house just to make it look perfect, he knew his boyfriends schedule Shuichi was getting out of work early today or at least that what he though. Hours of planning passed by and Kokichi was ready he was sitting at the table a little box in his hands waiting for the taller boy. Half an our, nothing an hour, all alone, two hours, still alone, three hours, did he forget? Four hours, that's it I'm looking for him.

Kokichi got up with the little box still in his hands, he grabbed his keys and headed over to shuichi's work place. Shuichi on the other hand was with his boss Miss kyoko they were discussing on their latest case. Kyoko got a little carried away listening to shuichi's explanation on the case she grabbed the smaller boys chin and made him look at her. Just at that moment the door opened reveling a soaking wet Kokichi.

Kokichi was in pure shock when he saw the position the two were in, kyoko quickly let go of Shuichi's chin and looked away embarrassed. Shuichi stood up and walked towards his soaking boyfriend. "Don't take another step in my direction I can't be trusted around you." "K-Koichi" "don't think you can talk your way into my arms" Shuichi was more than confused by this point but decided not to ask since Kokichi was already mad at him.

Kokichi's eyes were filled with tears, he left that building crying leaving Shuichi confused. "What was that about?" Shuichi was talking to himself but kyoko had heard "he had a small box in his hands you might want to see what that is" kyoko sent Shuichi home. When Shuichi got to his house he found the decorations that his boyfriend put up only on their anniversary.

Shuichi's mind went blank before realizing in the problem he had put himself in. Shuichi walked in their bedroom to find a crying Kokichi, "k-Kokichi-" (quick a/n: let's pretend that Kaede and Kokichi are siblings just for the sake of a story that involves a musical and history) "I see how you look at my sister, DON'T I'm not naive I have seen women around you don't think I don't see how they fall for your charms all your charms."

Kokichi threw the small box at Shuichi and climb out of the window to go god nows where. Shuichi opened the box to find a silver engagement ring, carved inside the ring it had 'Koichi x Shuichi' shuichi's eyes couldn't believe what he was seeing in front of him. He needed to find the smaller boy quickly before he did something stupid, well he was too late kokichi's body was in the middle of the street in a puddle of water and blood.

The ambulance took Kokichi to the nearest hospital and treated him there. For shuichi's luck Kokichi didn't suffer any serious injuries, once Kokichi could have visits Shuichi rushed inside the room. "Kokichi I'm so sorry I totally forgot I'm really sorry" silence Kokichi wasn't showing any emotions he was just siting there with a crying Shuichi in front of him.

"Kokichi this is not time to joke around you could've died right out there" silence kokichi's face was still emotionless. Shuichi called the doctors, the doctors kicked Shuichi out of the room leaving him even more worried. "Mister Saihara I'm sorry to inform that ouma has lost his emotions temporality, we're still not sure why but we are trying to find out please don't pressure any emotions into him."

Shuichi was allowed back into the room were his boyfriend was sitting in with no emotions. "This is all my fault" Kokichi placed a hand over shuichi's grabbing the boys attention. "Shuichi?" "Yeah thats me, I'm the asshole of a boyfriend you have" "why would you say that?" Kokichi's voice was monotone almost like Maki's.

"I-I forgot our anniversary you got mad and got in a car crash which ended up on you here with no emotions" "oh" Shuichi took the box out his pocket and placed it on kokichi's hand. "You were going to propose to me weren't you?" "I guess I was" "You might not have emotions anymore but I would love to marry you" Kokichi seemed take back by the sudden respond. "Shuichi..." "yes Kokichi?" "Can we just stay as boyfriends for now and forget this ever happened?"

Shuichi didn't want to agree but he knew it was the best choice to do.

A month has passed since the accident Kokichi decided to take a break not a break up just a break so he can catch up on his feelings. Shuichi can't blame him he just got his emotions back and the feeling of being with someone that you though was cheating on you can be confusing. (Not as confusing as my 3 am inspiration bomb) Shuichi was sad he knew he fucked up and he tried to do everything so kokichi would forgive him but nothing worked, Kokichi moved back with Kaede his sister because he couldn't tolerate the pain he felt in the other house.

Shuichi finally grabbed enough strength to ask Koichi to 'hang out' at the park. "H-Hi Kokichi" "hi saihara-kun" it pained him hearing his lover call him by his last name but he has to accept it at least for now. "I wanted you to come here because... I can't live with out you I want you in my arms again I want to live a happy life with you" silence Kokichi just started at Shuichi the usual shine in his eyes wasn't there he was dumbfound. "I want us to get back together, I know we never broke up but I feel like you were planning to"

"Shumai... I can't I'm sorry you are busy with your detective work, I'm trying to find myself I don't think it's going to work out." This words hit Shuichi like knives being thrown at him "Kokichi please at least for one week if I don't make you happy in one week I'm going to leave you alone" Kokichi agreed to this just to get Shuichi to shut up.

A week has passed and Kokichi couldn't be happier he realized that he missed his shumai and that he needed him more than anything in this world. Kokichi mover back in with Shuichi and they had a great time goofing around. Shuichi made sure to never be cold toward his small boy because he never knew what waited for him behind that wall of lies.
