It was prom night, Shuichi and Kokichi were excited. The two had been dating for a year now but Kaede begged Shuichi to dance with her since rantaro was going to prom with kiibo. Shuichi and Kokichi discussed it and agreed on Kaede dancing with Shuichi, kaede's actual plan was to get Kokichi to break up with Shuichi. Kaede never asked rantaro to go to prom with her she asked no one just Shuichi, her plan was to kiss Shuichi getting Kokichi upset and boom break up.

Shuichi and Kokichi walked inside the schools gym holding hands smiling a small blush on their faces. The couple sta down next to rantaro and kiibo who were also holding hands. Kokichi was bubbly, teasing everyone actually having fun but then the slow dance song came up. Kaede pulled Shuichi to the dance floor, "wait...wasn't Shuichi your date?" Asked rantaro as he pointed at Kokichi. "Yeah, but bakamatsu begged Shuichi to dance with her so I'm alone" Kokichi still his tongue out in a goofy way. Rantaro chuckled and pulled kiibo to the dance floor, Kokichi kept his eyes on Shuichi and Kaede he felt a little jealous.

Some minutes had passed Kokichi was getting very bored and was about to get up when he saw Kaede and Shuichi kissing. Tears started to form on kokichi's face the slow dance stoped going back to a cheerful one, Rantaro and kiibo who where way closer to the table noticed Kokichi crying. "Kokichi what happened?" "Nothing.." Kokichi got up and walked out of the gym heart broken. Shuichi noticed that Kokichi wasn't in his seat when he got back, rantaro told Shuichi that Kokichi was crying and went out of the gym. Shuichi thanked him and ran out of the gym looking for the small boy.

Kokichi was at the rooftop sitting on the cold cement floor looking at the stars. "Kokichi?" Shuichi opened the rooftops door a small smile formed on his face when he saw the small boy. "Kooki what happened?" Shuichi knelt down next to Kokichi putting a hand around his shoulder. "Don't touch me" Shuichi immediately moved his hand away from kokichi's shoulder. "K-Kooki what happened?? Did I do something wrong?" "Why don't you go with bakamatsu? Huh? You don't think I didn't see the two of you kissing?" Kokichi looked at Shuichi tears in his eyes.

"What ar-" Shuichi remembered the kiss Kaede pulled him in, "kooki..I didn't kiss her, she kissed me!" Kokichi looked deep into shuichi's eyes trying to find the lie. "You're not lying?" "I'm not lying kooki, I love you I would never cheat on you" "p-promise?" "Promise" Shuichi softly smiled pulling kokichi into a sweet warm hug.
