In this world people have soulmates, you and your soulmate can see the same color everyone else besides your souls mate can see different colors. Kokichi ouma and Shuichi Saihara are dating little do they now that they aren't soulmates. Right now the two were in a date fooling around, laughing and eating sweets. "You look nice in a blue shirt Kokichi" Kokichi's mind went different places 'blue? How do I tell him I don't see blue' "thank you Saihara-Chan!"

A few days have passed Kokichi carried the gilt of not telling Shuichi the truth. "Shuichi?" "What is it Kokichi?" They we're currently at shuichi's house in his room. "I-I don't see blue, I see purple" "I know" Kokichi's eyes widened he looked straight up to Shuichi. "I met my soulmate the other day, she commented on how good my blue hair looks you never said anything about my blue hair" "I-I'm sorry Shuichi" Kokichi's eyes watered.

A few months have passed they were still the happy little couple they were but Shuichi was about to change that. "Kokichi" "What is it Saihara-Chan?" "I...I have been talking to my soulmate lately" those words stabbed Kokichi millions of times, he wasn't ready for this type of pain. "And we can't change our futures Kokichi, these are our soulmates we were meant to be with this persons I'm sorry but I want to break up with you." Shuichi was cold and direct with this statement.

Years have passed Shuichi married his soulmate, Kokichi found his soulmate but they stayed as friends. Kokichi was walking down the street with his soulmate Jan, she was a nice person and was always trying to cheer up Kokichi. Since the break up Kokichi got depression but Jan was always with him trying to keep him happy. Well Jan and Kokichi were walking down the street to the bus station, they planned to go to the park just to relax.

At the bus station was one man in a black with stripes suit, the two walked there they looked like little kids that lost they parents. Jan and Kokichi sat next to the man an silence floating around them. The man slightly turned his head to see at the two only to be shocked, "k-kokichi?" Kokichi turned his head to find his ex boyfriends who he believed was his soulmate. "S-Shuichi.." Jan who was paying close attention gave a glare to Shuichi.

"Kokichi haven't seen you in year how have you been?" "Honestly depressed" Shuichi have Kokichi a worried look clearly not expecting that. "Is that your umm soulmate?" "Yeah, but we aren't dating or anything like that" "oh" the bus arrived saving Kokichi of any further questions. "Kokichi" "what is it Jan?" "Tell him" "w-what are you talking about?" "You know what I'm talking about, now invite him to the park with you" "what about you?" "I'll go somewhere else,just tell him."

Kokichi nodded and quickly made his way to Shuichi "hey Saihara-kun?" "Yes Kokichi?" "C-Can you come w-with me to the park?" "Umm sure but please make it quick." Kokichi nodded sitting down next to Shuichi his small amount of happiness fading back to zero. The bus stopped at the park both got off and went to a near by bench. "So why did you want to talk?" "I-I...I still love you, I know you are probably with you soulmate but I never got over you not with help of friends not even with therapy, I got depressed after the break up it really broke me, I just want to be back in your arms I need you Shuichi I really do."

Kokichi started crying, Shuichi looked at the smaller boy also crying. Shuichi really missed Kokichi he really regretted the break up he needed his small boy. "K-Kokichi I-I.. I'm sorry I really am I-I don't know what I was thinking I just thought that breaking up with you was the best choice but I proved myself wrong I'm really want you back Kokichi, I do" Kokichi looked at shuichi his teared stained cheeks made shuichi's heart break for the second time in his life.

Shuichi pulled Kokichi into a comforting hug trying to bring up past memories. "I'm glad you finally did it Kokichi" the two pulled away from the hug to reveal Jan and shuichi's wife Heather. "H-Heather" "save it, it's okay actually have wanted to go back into Jan's arms but never brought myself to tell you." "Heather.." "I have been thinking of a divorce, we get divorce and marry the people we truly love." Shuichi agreed to the divorce.

Sometime has passed after the divorce, kokichi has never been this happy in years all he needed was his shuichi back and it was the same story with shuichi. "I love you kokichi" "I love you too shuichi, never leave me again" "I'll never will I learned my mistake" shuichi obligated kokichi to more therapy and antidepressants trying to make him happy again. It took a long time but he got his old kokichi back, right now the two were cuddling on the couch watching a movie.

The two stayed together for the rest of their lives promising to never leave each other alone, they got married, kokichi died cause of a disease, shuichi died of old age waiting to see his kokichi in the other world.
