I held my heart, pagsara ko nang pinto ko sa kwarto. Ramdam na ramdam ko yung mabilis niyang pagtibok.

I slowly walked towards the sofa and sat there. Hindi pa rin ito humuhupa at mas lalo pa nga atang lumalakas.

"Slow down already, will you?" bulong ko sa sarili.

Sinandal ko ang ulo ko sa sofa. The scene kept replaying in my head. He kissed me... again.

"Wag ka masyadong ma-inlove sa akin, Tria. Baka di na kita pakawalan niyan."

Ginulo ko ang buhok ko at umayos nang upo. Dumiretso naman ako sa CR at nakitang pulang-pula ang mukha ko. He must've seen it or something! Hindi ko naman kase aakalain na totoohanin niya ang sinabi niya. I was just teasing him because he seemed fun to tease.

I tied my long wavy hair and changed my clothes as well. Naghilamos na rin ako parang mawala naman sa utak ko yung nangyari. Sinandal ko ang dalawa kong kamay sa sink at tiningnan ang sarili ko sa salamin.

I also held my chest kung ganon pa rin siya. Medyo mabilis pa rin pero unti-unti na humuhupa ito.

Napasapo ako sa noo. Bakit ba ako ganito?

I returned to the sofa at binuksan ang phone ko. I immediately video called Rie. Siya yung nakakausap ko tungkol dito. Agad rin naman siyang sumagot.

"Hello?"

She's wearing a headband at halata mong matutulog na ata. Ang aga naman.

"Rie, fuck!" sabi ko agad.

"Woah, there girl. Ano meron? Bakit ka napatawag?"

I massaged the bridge of my nose. Sinandal ko nalang ang ulo ko dito.

"I feel like I'm having a heart attack," sambit ko sa kanya.

"What? Do you want me to call and ambulance? I'll-"

"No. Not a real one." I said. "My heart... it won't stop beating so fast..."

I suddenly heard her laugh. "What happened?"

I sighed. "He kissed me..." I trailed. "He kissed me, Rie!"

"What? Who? Si Santi?" she asked.

Umiling ako. We both know that would be a huge issue if Santi would kiss me. He has a girlfriend. That would be like cheating on her.

"Si Trent. He kissed me again."

Nanlaki ang mga mata niya sa akin. She started fanning herself. "What did you say? Trent kissed you? Your pretend boyfriend kissed you!"

I nodded. "It was just a joke, and I was teasing him but I didn't know he would really do it!" I told her. "Now, my heart won't stop beating!"

"Oh my gosh, Tria! He likes you!" she exclaims. "You seem to like him too! Oh my, I've only seen this in movies but this is the real shit!"

Umiling ako. "No! I don't like him and he doesn't like me either! Diba nga I told you? He said I am not his type. They kept pairing us together pero ayaw naman niya."

"Tria... dear. Eh, bakit ka namumula ngayon? Kitang-kita oh!" she told me, pointing at my face.

I held my face. Namumula ba ako?

"Plus, you said that your heart won't stop beating fast diba? Girl! Iba na 'yan! In-love ka na ata!"

In-love? No, I am not inlove. Last time I checked, si Santi ang gusto ko at hindi si Trent! How could she say that I am in love with him? Hindi kaya!
