"This my 2nd son, Trent Lucas."

I never liked it when Mama introduces me to new people. I always felt like she only introduces me just so she can brag how smart I am. I have an IQ of 160 even at the young age of 11. It was a pretty unusual thing for someone my age, so Mama takes all the time to brag about it.

The little girl with her pink dress and white flats smiled at me. She had a natural wavy brown hair, chinky eyes, a small face and paper skin that she almost looked like a doll or a princess. A pretty one, to be exact.

Her eyes twinkled with so much adoration and admiration, but she's not looking at me though.

She likes my brother.

I already knew to myself, that if I did end up liking her, I wouldn't even have a chance. She likes my brother. She wants to be his girlfriend.

She's pretty, yes, but I don't just like a girl just because she's pretty. She doesn't seem like the type of girl I'd like to date either. Yet, there's something about her that won't make me stop thinking about her...

"Trent, you have to come with me in this event," Mama told me.

"Si Kuya nalang," sagot ko.

"Trent, you have to come with me. Your brother's not available. Dress up," Mama said and left my room.

I groaned, obviously lazy to come with my Mother. Bakit kase hindi nalang si Kuya? He's not busy! He's just busy with girls!

It's been years since I last saw her... she has grown to a lady even at the mere age of thirteen.

She also had bangs now and her hair is still a little wavy at the ends.

Her eyes look so passionate while telling the story to the kids. Her smile is so bright it could light up a whole town with it. I looked at the kids who are all staring at her. They all looked so attentive without getting distracted. Who would be? If someone as beautiful as her would tell you a story, ay hindi mo na talaga maalis ang tingin sa kanya.

I never liked anyone my whole life. I never had a girlfriend. Not even a first kiss.

I never felt like this with anyone.

I like kids anyway, so I enjoyed helping there too.

"Trent," Kuya called.

"Oh?" medyo inis kong sabi. He suddenly barged in my room, without my permission.

"Do you like Tria?"

He laughed.

He seemed surprise for a moment before he smirked. "So, you do like her, huh?" he said. "I ain't going to stop you from liking her, Trent, but just so you know, she likes me..." pang-iinis niyang sabi.
