YAY I have been waiting to write the part for SO long!!!

The next day...

Hermione got up and saw it was a beautiful day, the sun was streaming in through her window and the clouds were covering it well enough that the heat didn't kill them. She went down for breakfast, and as usual, her father was in his seat reading the morning's news and her mother was making breakfast, fried eggs and bacon by the looks of it. "Hermione dear, would you get the post? I'm a bit busy with the eggs." Her mother asked her. She obliged and got the day's mail from the post box. Casually, she flipped through the letters, one from her Aunt, enjoying her holiday, a few bills, and there was another letter. It was quite peculiar looking, it was made of fine paper and looked like something from the wizarding world, maybe for her? She opened it and read its contents. WHAT! Came out of her mouth after reading the letter.

(the letter)

Dear Mr and Mrs Granger,

Your adopted daughter Ms Hermione Granger has been found to be the child of the Royal family of Britain, the Sussex family. They shall be coming on the coming Sunday to take her to Buckingham palace where she will learn all the rules and regulations to be a princess of the wizarding world. We understand she is already a witch and is attending the Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry; she will be given a few days off to meet the Royal family, the King and Queen of Britain.

Your Sincerely,

His Highness,

King John of Britain.

Hermione never knew she was adopted. What was this? A bazillion questions were in her head and she wanted them answered. Shaking slightly, she went to her mother and father. "Mum, Dad, am I... adopted?" her parents shared a stare like they had seen a dementor. As explanation for how she knew, Hermione passed them the letter. They read it with horror struck faces and then turned to her. Her father placed his hand on hers and said, "Hermione dear, before, we were incapable of childbirth and when we found out we couldn't have children, we were absolutely heartbroken. And then we went to an orphanage one day, and we saw you. You were but a small baby, not more than 2 months old. We immediately knew that you were our daughter, your smile, your eyes, we loved everything about you. So, we adopted you. Darling, we planned to tell you when you turned eighteen. Well, now you know you're a princess, your going to leave us and stay with your new parents, right? That's probably what we deserve..."

In response, Hermione ferociously hugged them and said, "You're my mum and dad. You've loved me for so long, you've supported me. Even if you aren't my biological parents, you'll always be my mum and dad, whatever those royals have to say."

This brought tears to her parents' eyes. Hermione may not be biologically related to them, but they would be her parents at heart. But now she would enter this whole new world of being a princess. How was she going to cope? Hermione wasn't one for the spotlight that was Lavender or Parvati, not her. And was this going to change anything between her and Draco? She went up to her room and thought all of this. Her mother came in and looking at Hermione's face she asked, "Dearest, who's the lucky boy?" hearing this she blushed a deep red. How did her mother know? Ahh! "I once found love too. Who is he?"

Ugh moms. They could literally read off any expression you put. What could she tell her mom? "Okay...so um don't freak out...But he's Draco Malfoy...the one who used to tease me so much. But he's changed. He doesn't believe the pureblood thing anymore and he is much nicer than what I took him to be." Luckily her mother didn't react like Harry, she smiled and said she only wanted Hermione to have the best. "But Mom, I don't want to be a princess. I'm not cut out for it, and I hate the spotlight, what am I supposed to do?" her mother gave her a few words of encouragement, that she could do it, after all she was (before this) a muggle born but had become such a highly qualified witch. Her mother made her feel better and she put a smile on her face to show her mom she was alright.
