Once again this idea comes from mine and soiamaxx talking again. How many is that now? Probably a lot.

Enjoy the fantasy au.

Scar messed with the green and orange flower pattern mask a bit, tugging it slightly to not completely cover his eyes. He looked in the slightly cracked mirror. It was a semi fancy purple outfit. His brown hair was still a mess but a orange flower crown stopped it looking like a complete mess.

"Are you almost done, Scar?" Doc asked from outside his small room. For the night the group had rented out a few rooms so after this mission they could just come back and fall asleep. Since the ball would go on till early morning and they probably had to fight something.

"Yeah you can come in!" Scar called and fixed the flower crown a bit. Doc came in and blushed slightly. Doc was wearing a (slightly ripped) black suit with one sleeve ripped completely off, showing his robotic arm. He wore a steampunk red and black mask.

"You look great!" Scar complimented and laughed slightly when Doc went more red.

"Same to you dude!" Scar smiled and turned around finally, looking at Doc fully and his smile grew wider.

"This is going to be so much fun!" He grabbed Docs arm and started pulling the taller out the small room. Doc let himself be pulled down into the main area of the inn where everyone else would be waiting.

Iskall looked up when they walked in and smiled. He was wearing a old green suit and his now green prosthetic eye glowed. His mask was green and was 'dripping' down slightly.

After their run in with a not so friendly dragon, Iskalls eye had been smashed. He needed to get a replacement and luckily Xisuma could make one. Scar was forever grateful that they had met the Hermits. Granted they tried to kill them when they met but, they really did help.

"Well, looks like our local Druid finally decided to show up." Bdubs spat druid out like it was a swear word, and Scar flinched slightly. Because Iskall had chosen to join their little group over the Hermits Bdubs had absolutely despised him, Doc and Cub. He didn't hate Iskall though.

But before Scar could tell them that he had accidentally lost his mask, Iskall glared at the former assassin.

"We aren't going to be late. Chill dude, I'm sure Scar has a good explanation. But if you start another fight with him or Doc or even Cub, we will be late." Bdubs went red a bit and was about to say something back when Keralis grabbed the back of his jumper and pulled him over, fussing about their blue and red masks.

Xisuma stood up on a chair and the room fell into silence. He looked around and took out a fancy looking envelope.

"We as a group have been invited to make sure nothing goes wrong. Scar if you would like to explain..?" The leader turned to the Druid, who froze in shock before smiling and moving to stand next to Xisuma.

"The host has been kind enough to invite us as guests to his party at the estate. He has had a vision of something going wrong and has hired us to help. We have full access to the area and must wear special bracelets to show guards this." Scar held up his arm and moved the robe down slightly, showing a leather bracelets with a green gem tied to it.

Everyone had already put their own on and nodded to confirm this. Scar smiled and clapped his hands.

"Some people can bring their weapons inside but other who have staffs and other bigger weapons can't, the host doesn't want to cause alarm." Cleo and Cub both glanced at each other, they also weren't able to bring their staffs.
