Hermitcraft S7 stuff

CreatureCraft

So I had a au in my last book where it was called 'CreatureCraft' and everyone was a monster and loved together. HermitcraftSnake made two oneshots (which were absolutely brilliant) and I'll be following in from where they left off.

After a bit of walking around in the large house (it was more of a mansion honestly with how big it was) he finally found the other two vampires along with what looked like a normal person.

...Apart from that the human-looking one was floating.

One of the vampires noticed him and grinned, in an instant in front of Cub. Wide, excited purple eyes stared into surprised black ones and the vampire grinned brightly.

"You're that vampire who was burning to death!" The other vampire facepalmed at his friend and made his way over with the ghost.

"Zed that's not how you introduce yourself."

Zed grumbled and back away, crossing his arms and looking down at the ground. The ghost covered his mouth to hide his laughter and the other vampire smiled kindly at Cub.

"Your Cub, right? Scar told us. I'm Impulse-" he gestured to the ghost, "-thats Joe-" then he gestured to the other vampire, "-and thats Zed!"

Joe floated up and disappeared for a few seconds before appearing again at the end of the hallway. He watched them silently for a few seconds then with back blink of the lights, was gone.

"He's gone to see Cleo I guess. Or just freak out the new people." Zed joked and turned around again to face Cub.

"Right, another vampire! And by the looks of it I'm guessing you were born one to?" Zed asked and Cub swears he saw Impulse subtly flinch- was turning into a vampire a sore spot for him?

"Yeah always have been! Me and Scar grew up in a town that absolutely hated any kind of creature that wasn't human."

"Which is why we found you two nearly dead!" Impulse looked just past Cub and focused on the wall behind him, obviously distracted by something.

"Wow I can't be blunt about vampires but you can be blunt about how we find others?" Zed teased and Cub couldn't help but smile at the interaction.

It was all so different by how serious where they grew up. Where the smiles all seemed fake and Cub and Scar were outcasted for many reasons. Including how Scar would never speak and instead use sigh language. And how Cub hated going out in the sun and only went out for a few hours a day.

"Hi Mumbo." Impulses voice cut through Cubs thoughts and he turned to see a ghostly figure. Dressed in a tidy suit and with glowing white eyes.

"Hi guys." Mumbo replied as he stared at Cub before disappearing. Cub blinked and stared at where he had stood.

"Now we gotta find him again! Before we have to go to dinner." Zed explained as the three set out to find the ghost.

Maybe Cub could get used living here. As long as Scar was with him.
