Titles are hard to do but whatever.

Welcome to 'Zo had a idea for a story so makes a oneshot!' and guess who's the main focus.

Also I know they aren't doing it this season but I will not stop with giving the convex family dynamics.

Magic wasn't rare to anyone per say, no the word uncommon would be best to describe it. But still people would fear those with the gifts of being more in tune with the spirits around them.

That's why Cub always taught him that starting conversations with his cat or horse when in town was a bad idea. Or that talking to Jellie when customers where in the inn would only lead to trouble.

But to Scar, it never really made sense. Maybe he was more naive to the world then Cub, what do you expect when he had never left the village in his life? But hiding something he had never sat right.

The way his fingers would itch when going through town trying to sell whatever Cub gave him that day, or how he liked talking to animals more then other people his age.

But right now he was stuck inside, outside was pouring it down and Cub would kill Scar if he got mud all over the main room. Again.

But living on the boarder of Hermitland and completely off most roads meant they never got a lot of business. And that meant Scar had to stand at the old wooden counter for hours without being able to do anything.

But when the door was slammed open and four cloaked (and utterly soaked) people rushed in. Well Scar had to pay attention. He put on his kindest smile and faces the odd group.

"Hell, welcome to ConCorp inn! Would you like a room?" He had been taught this since he was old enough to run the inn for a short while and it was basically ingrained in his head.

One of the group pulled the hood down and Scar tried very hard not to stare. The man had wild brown hair that was only being kept out of his face by a red bandana and with startlingly green eyes. Not just like moral eyes, no both eyes where entirely green and glowing. He was definitely the shortest of the group but had a few inches on Scar.

Two more of them pulled their hoods down and one of them took of his soaked cloak. The one who did was slightly taller then the bandana wearing one and had short black hair and a black beard and had what seemed to be a blood stained apron over a black shirt.

The other one who pulled his hood down was a tall white haired man, but what stood out to Scar was the long scar in ver his red eye that satire into the others very soul it seemed. He had a strange black mask covering his face and a black bandana holding the wild white hair out of his face.

The last one was the tallest and Scar got a odd feeling from him but the man didn't pull down his hood but instead stood menacingly behind the other three.

Apron-wearing man smiled kindly at Scar and put a small bag of what seemed to be coins on the counter.

"Can we please have a room for four for one night?" He asked. Scar wordlessly nodded, slightly shocked by how nice the man was for wearing a apron stained in blood and was carrying a very sharp looking axe.

"Just follow me for a second and I'll show you to your room!" Scar grabbed the key and swiftly started making his way towards the room for four they had. They only had one as it was uncommon and they didn't have enough space so Scar thanked the gods for making it that room was free. Well nearly all rooms had no one in them other than the one Cub slept in and the two Scar had claimed.

"Here is your room!" He unlocked it but kept the key inside the lock so one of the group members could take it.

"Thank you!" The red-bandana man announced and dragged the tall still cloaked man inside and the other two followed.

"Wait!" The white haired man turned around to give him a look. "Do you have any horses I can take to the stable?" Scar asked and the white hair man nodded silently.

"Yeah they behave so you can just put them in the stables!" Red bandana wearing guy yelled before the cloaked man hit smacked the back of his head.

Before a inevitable argument started Scar closed the door in a rush and ran down the hall. Cub was just coming out of his room as Scar rushed past.

"We have guests! Four room! I'm going to the horses!" Scar yelled as he slipped on the blue and orange coat before opening the old wooden door and sprinting outside to the 'not-exactly stables' where four horses waited.

"See Bdubs just needs to nit pick fights with everyone! That bandit nearly knocked Beef right off-" A chestnut horse (it looked like those warhorses Scar saw during the war) complained. The names rang a bell somewhere but dint click completely.

"Oh look at this kid!" A large black and white one announced to the other three.

"Well hello to, my name is Scar not 'kid'." The horses all broke into mini choas when they realised that not only could Scar understand them but he heard what they were saying a second ago.

"Calm down please! Please?" Scar asked as he honestly didn't want someone coming outside as he was trying to get these horses to the actual stable.

"He can hear us! Maybe he can tell Bdubs to stop being a fu-" The chestnut horse was cut of by a loud bang form inside the inn that made Scar (and the horses) snap to attention.

Without a second thought on personal safety or having a plan, Scar rushed inside and threw his coat off and over the counter running towards the source of the bang. It was where the mysterious group was staying.

When he got there he found Cub and a tall man with green skin with a strange arm holding a sword at the other with the three others looking ready to attack any second.

"What the hell is going on in here?"

Two parter for a new au! Yeah I got nothing else here.

I have slight regrets asking for help with the horse names because w h a t.

Hope you like this au more to come soon.
