I let out a low groan, "Apollo!" The horse simply flipped his hair in response as he trotted away back into his pin. "Apollo you need a bath!" I say, dropping the hose, that I just picked up while chasing after the horse.

I look at him as he started nibbling on the hay in his pin, I place my hands my hips. I've just finished given Bruno a bath, which went smoothly now it was time for this cat horse's bath. Apollo hates water, despises it and will do anything to avoid it. He would freak out in the rain and start running around in circles while Bruno just waited by the barn door to be let in. Apollo is  the cat of this family, even Maple doesn't throw a fit when she has to get her bath.

"Apollo, come." I stated firmly, Apollo simply looked up at me, before going back to nibble on his hay. I let out a groan, before an idea came to mind. I pulled out a carrot from my back pocket, "Apollo." I cooed, shaking the carrot up in the air.

Apollo immediately looked over, before walking over trying to bite the carrot. As he walked forward I moved backwards, till I reached the spot where I give the horses their bath. Once he was close enough to the post, I let him have the carrot, while I tied off his lead.

I grab the hose, once Apollo ate his carrot, he turned his attention to me. I then started to spray him with the hose, he flinched, and pounded his hooves in protest. But after some time he lowered his head in defeat. I was able to clean him with no trouble, and when I was done, I guided him back to his pin. "See, that wasn't so bad was it?"

Apollo snorted in disagreement, as he trotted into his pin. I closed the gate, before walking out of the barn. I walked inside the house to see most of the guys watching TV while Malik was reading a book and Ezio seemed to be scanning the cupboard.

"There's hardly much in here belle." Ezio said, while shutting the cupboard door.

I let out a small sigh as I walked into the kitchen, "I know, I'll run to the store tomorrow." I grab the dog bowls, catching both Jax's and Willow's attention instantly. I opened back up the cupboard and begin to fill up their dog bowls.

I place the bowls in their spot, "How was cleaning the horses?" I hear Malik ask, not looking up from his book.

"Apollo was difficult like usual." I say rolling my eyes. "I swear, sometimes I think Apollo was raised by cats with how much he fears water."

"He sounds like someone I know." Malik said with a smirk, looking over at Altair who glared at him.

"You don't mind if I go to the store with you do you?" I hear Connor ask, turning around from his spot on the couch.

I shrug, "Sure, I don't mind." I then freeze as I hear the door ring, indicating someone was here. I walk away from the group and towards the front door. I opened it see a male with short (h/c) hair, (s/c) skin, and shining (e/c) eyes.

"Hey little sis." He said, placing a cigarette between his teeth before lighting it, placing the lighter in his leather jackets pocket.

I look up at him unamused, "What do you want Luka?"

"Awe, I can't just come to say hello to my adorable little sister?" The male questioned, looking down at me with innocent eyes.

"Not you, no." I growled, about to close the door on him. However, he placed his hand on the door preventing it from closing.

"Ok, ok, fine." He said with an annoyed tone. I open the door back up, "I need a place to stay."

"No way, I'm not letting you stay here ever again after what happened last time!" I raised my voice slightly, glaring daggers into his (e/c) orbs.

"I know, I know, but I promise I changed over a new leaf." He said, holding up his hands in a surrender like way.

"You said that last time." I countered, crossing my arms, looking at him up and down.

That's when he dropped the innocent act, rolling his (e/c) orbs, shoving me out of the way hard, nearly knocking my over. "Whatever, move brat."

I grinned my teeth, jumping in front of him, stopping him in his tracks, "You can't just walk in here!"

"Well I just did." He spoke with a smug grin, slipping his hands in his pants pocket as he looked down at me.

"Get out!" I growl, glaring up at him, my hands clenched into fists.

"Now is that anyway to speak to your older brother?" He grabbed me by the collar of my shirt, pulling me towards him slightly. "I'm staying here whether you like it or not. If you so much as whisper to the cops on where I am ... I will find that mountain lion and throw you to it."

I don't fear him ... he wouldn't do that, no matter how much of a bad person he is. But something in his eyes at that moment told me something different ... it scared me. I've never seen that look in his eyes, not directed towards me anyway.

"What's this?" I hear him question, his gaze down towards my neck. I look down myself to see the pendant was onto of my shirt, seeming to be have shaken out. "Now this would cost millions on the black market." He said with a greedy grin.

I look up at him in fear, "No! You can't take it!"

He rolled his eyes, "Or what? You're going to cry?" He spoke, making a fake pouty expression before laughing.

Out of no where, a fist slammed into his jaw, causing him to loosen his grip and stumble away. A look of shock covered his face. I stumbled back myself, colliding into someone behind me, I look behind me seeing Shay giving me a soft smile.

I look over to see who punched Luka, to see Edward rubbing his hand over his knuckles. Standing on one side of him was Altair and the other side was Ezio, each of them glaring at my brother.

My brother returned their glare, "Who the hell do you think you are!?" He questioned, glaring at the three men in front of him.

"Are you alright lass?" I hear Shay ask behind me, I turn to him giving him a small nod before looking back at the scene before me.

"You heard the lass, get out." Edward growled, rage filling his eyes, making them look like a stormy sea.

"You are not the-"

"Just get out Luka!" I screamed, pushing myself to stand in front of them, giving him a pleading look.

Luka simply scoffed, "Fine." He turned his back, taking the cigarette out of his mouth, tapping it to spread some ash on the floor. Just before he walked through the door, he looked back saying, "He's back you know, heard from some buddies say that they saw him walk out of the airport just yesterday." Was the last thing he said, closing the door behind him.

I stared after him in horror, he has to be lying ... there is no way he's back. He can't be. For the first time in a long time, I felt fear flood into my senses, a chill going up my spine.

"(Y/N)?" I felt a hand on my shoulder, causing me to flinch, whirling around to see Altair, looking down at me with a worried look. "Are you alright? He didn't hurt you did he?"

I shake my head no, my gaze traveling back over to the closed door as if expecting him to show up.

"Don't worry, I doubt that bastardo will be coming back anytime soon." Ezio spoke from some where behind me.

It's not him I'm worried about.

Ezio's POV

(Y/N) had been quiet for most of the day, all she has either been making a shopping list or upstairs working. She's been jumpy as well, which wasn't normal for her, she's on edge as that little event with her brother.

But ... I don't that bothered her, she seemed used to it. It was what her brother said before he left that got to her.

What or who could she be so afraid of.

But whatever it is ... I will protect her from it, whatever it is. That I can promise.
