*Thank you everyone for you votes! The winner is ... Shay! I used the suggestion from @polly0_1 to help write out this chapter and I hope you enjoy!*

I let out a yawn, yanking my phone off charge as I let out a groan, seeing a text from my boss ... with a picture of two boxes of more books needing to be translated. I text her back, saying that I'm on my way now, mentioning I'll bring a friend to help.

I slip my phone into my back pocket as I close the book I was working on before standing up and walking out of my room. I look around the house, deciding the first person I see I will ask. I end up bumping into someone, which I thought was a wall as first, till I look up to meet brown eyes looking down at me.

"Shay!" I spoke cheerfully, smiling up at him brightly. "Care to join me for a little drive?" I question as I grab my car keys from the counter, looking up at him, waiting for his answer.

"I don't really have much to do." He then shrugged, "Why not."

I smiled as I slipped on my sandals, "Great! You are going to be the first one here to see where I work."

Shay looked at me with new interest, seeming to perk up slightly as he too slipped on his shoes. "Where you work? I thought you just worked at home lass?" Shay questioned as I led him out of the door towards my jeep.

"I do, but I have a ... I guess headquarters. How do you think I get my stuff that I work on?" I question, jumping into the drivers seat as Shay climbed into the passengers side.

"I don't know, I just assumed it was shipped to you. They do those nowadays right?" Shay questioned as I inserted my keys into the slot, starting up the car, the engine roaring to life.

I shrug, putting my car into reverse, "Yeah they do, but with the possibility of the artifacts and books getting damaged is too high. Especially since the people I work for rely on Fedex." Shay looked at me confused to which I responded, "It's a mailing company."

Shay nodded in understanding, before looking out the window as I drove down the dirt road before reaching the main road. Driving in the opposite direction I usually go, "How far is it?" Shay asked, noticing the change in direction, plus the unfamiliar terrain.

"Just forty minutes, not too far." I answer as I look for the exit to turn to. After about forty minutes I see piece of road merging off from the main road, I went down that to some face to face with a large fence and a security guard looking as bored as ever.

I rolled down my window as the guard spoke in a bored tone, "ID."

I pull my ID out of the glove box, handing it to him as he merely glanced at it saying, "Welcome Dr. (L/N)." He then handed back my ID before pressing the button to the gate in front of me, watching as it rolled out of the way, allowing me to drive through before it closed behind me.

I parked inside an empty parking space which was closest to the door of a large concrete building, which had black stained glass windows, which didn't allow you to see inside the building.

I got out of my jeep, Shay following suit, as I led him up to the two glass doors. Shay quickly got in front of me, grabbing onto the handle before pulling it open, allowing me to step through first. I smiled up at him softly before giving him a small nod, "Thank you."

"No problem lass." Shay responded as he walked in behind me, allowing the door to close. Around me was mostly scientists, interns, and desk workers bustling around. Each person going in and out of elevators, going to give the man at the front desk a note, taking calls, going out for fresh air, or even heading towards the break room.
