Chapter 16

"Hey (Y/N) look!" I turned around to see Jasper looking at a bulletin board with a bright smile on his face. "Why don't we try this?" He questioned, pointing to a sheet of paper on the board.

I walk up to his side, seeing it was a poster for the surfing team, tryouts starting in a few days from now. "I don't know Jasper." I say, looking at the sheet of paper with an uneasy look.

"Oh c'mon you've been saying you wanted to get involved. This is the best way." Jasper stated, his green eyes sparkling in excitement. "Besides, you love the ocean."

I let out a small sigh, "I guess there is no harm in trying it." I took out phone, taking a picture of the poster.

"Yes!" Jasper cheered with a bright smile on his face.

I shuffled through the closet, looking for my favorite swimsuit. I was wrong about getting better the next day ... I was sick for two days. Today, I feel better, which was a good thing, for today is Saturday. The day where my sister and our surfing group would meet up at the secret beach.

I grabbed hold of a (f/c) swimsuit with a pattern like design, the top being a high neck top as the bottoms were a bikini bottom with the same color as the top with similar patterns. I changed into that quickly, tying the top around my neck, keeping the pendant around my neck which was now out in the open.

I go back into my closet grabbing clothes to change into for later along with a black and white coverup. I slip on the coverup before climbing down the stares with the clothes in my hands. "(Y/N), why did we have to wear these today?" I turn my head to see Malik gesturing to the swim trunks I have given him yesterday.

I place the clothes on the counter before going to the small closet that had coats inside of it, grabbing a few large bags that was laying on the bottom of the closet. "Because we are going to the beach today." I answer, taking them out.

I pointed to the one that had a sea turtle on it, "Put your change of clothes in here." I then point to the other one, "In here there will be beach towels, sunscreen, and others things."

"You mean ... there will be water?" Altair questioned, soundly slightly nervous.

"Yes? It's a beach." I say, looking at him, slightly confused, before going out into the garage, opening it as I walk into it, grabbing a large blue cooler. I take the cooler inside the house, before opening the freezer, taking out the ice tray, looking inside before putting it back in shrugging. "We'll have to stop by the store for some ice."

"So we swim in these?" Edward questioned.

"Yeah, they are made to swim in." I answer, going over towards the cupboard to grab a few snacks, I'll get everything else at the store.

"Then why don't you have one on?" Edward questioned furthered.

"Because girls wear something different." Evie answered, walking out with a coverup similar to mine. I nod in agreement, before walking out to the garage, picking up my surf board, holding it over my head before placing it on top of my jeep. I then grab my other surfboard, which is my sisters, before placing it on top of my jeep as well.  

I then climb into my jeep before backing it up to a trailer resting in the garage, stopping just a few inches away before smiling. "Today is definitely going to be a fun day."

I lead Apollo out of the trailer right after I lead Bruno out of the trailer. "You want me to ride Apollo?" I hear my sister ask behind me. I slip off my coverup before throwing it into the jeep, Jax and Willow were currently on a leash being held by Connor.
