CHAPTER SEVEN

Ridwaan sat next to Ahmed's bed,his hand on his son's hand and he kept his eyes on Ahmed's face.When Ahmed's eyes fluttered open,Ridwaan pressed for the button to call for the doctor as he stood up putting a hand on Ahmed's cheek.

"Ahmed,ibn."

"Dad,where we?"

"In the hospital,you are sick ibn."

Ahmed looked around,rubbing his throat before looking at Ridwaan,"Water."

Ridwaan turned to pour a glass of water before helping Ahmed up and holding the glass to his lips for him to take a sip,"Jazakallah.Date?"

"It's the 7 of April."

Ahmed's eyes filled with water as he was moved into a laying position and they begin to spill out,"Dad,I want Miss.Farzana." Ridwaan felt uthmost confusion at that moment before looking at Ahmed when he tugged at Ridwaan's hand,"I want Miss.Farzana.I miss her.I want her,please."

"Ibn." Ridwaan said in a pained tone as the doctor came in,moving to Ahmed's side.

"Ahmed,how are you feeling?"

Ahmed looked at her with tears running down his face and he pushed her hand away when she tried to touch his chest,"Nooooooo.I want Miss.Farzana.Go away."

"Ahmed,the doctor wants to just give you a check up.Please let her do that."

Ahmed shook his head as his chest begun to heave and he crawled backwards up the bed,shaking his head vigorously,"No.I want Miss.Farzana.No touch me!" He screams the last words as he tried to move away from his father's arms.

Ridwaan could only focus on his son as the doctor asked the nurse to give her an injection,"Sir,please hold him.I need to give him a sedative or else he will worsen his condition if he continues crying like this."

Ridwaan nodded his head as he stood up,wrapping his arms around Ahmed and picked the child up causing him to sream out louder,"NOOOOOOO.PUT ME DOWN." Ridwaan tightened his arms around Ahmed as he thrashed around and Dr.Rashida cleaned the spot on his arm with antiseptic before injecting him.Ahmed thrashed around for a couple seconds,before his eyes begun to drop and he went limp in Ridwaan's arms.

Ridwaan laid the child on the bed before looking at Dr.Rashida who came to check his heartbeat and his eyes.She noted something down before looking at Ridwaan who demanded and answer.

"What the hell was that about?"

"Prince Ahmed probably feels a bit distorted and can't really think straight at this moment because of the medication being quiet strong.Or he really wants this person by his side because he is in a unfamiliar place and wants comfort."

"What happens if he waked up and continues acting like that?"

Dr.Rashida looked at Ahmed before looking at Ridwaan,"Then you will have to get this Miss.Farzana here so that Prince Ahmed feels safer."
Ridwaan raked a hand through his hair as he cursed,internally.How could he get Miss.Farzana to the hospital room when she was miles away.He looked at Ahmed one more time before walking out and when his eyes fell on Imran he called him.

"Yes sir?"

"Find out immediately when is Miss.Farzana getting back?I want every detail,day and time..

"Yes sir." Imran walked away,pulling out his phone as Ahmed paced in front of the hospital room door.She needed to be back soon or else who knew how Ahmed would react."

"Sir." Ridwaan stopped to look at Imran who begun speaking,"Miss Farzana will land tomorrow at 1 pm."

"Dammit." Ridwaan cursed before looking at Imran,"Listen to me."
