BONUS CHAPTER #02

Farzana took the shirt that Ahmed had put on the bed,she folded it nicely before putting it into the bag.She glanced behind her to see Ahmed polishing his shoes while he sat on the floor,she smiled before turning back to the pack the rest of his things away.Her hands faltered when she picked up a small book which had Ahmed's name on it,she turned to look at Ahmed as she held the book.

"Ahmed,I thought the book I gave you,you used up all the pages.How come this one is exactly the same?"

Ahmed looked up from where he sat,he smiled,"Mama,the book pages did get finished but I had the cover removed and I had it fitted onto a new and thicker book.The other part of the book is somewhere here.It was your first gift to me,mama.I just couldn't not have it with me." Farzana's eyes grew moist as she looked down at the cover,before she knew it tears rolled down her face,"Mama,don't cry." Ahmed said as he put the polish down,making his way to Farzana and wrapping his arms around her.

"I don't know why am I crying.Stupid hormones.I'm going to miss you,Ahmed." Farzana said as she hugged him back,book still in her hand,"I'm going to miss you so much,habibi."

"I'm going to miss you too,mama.I will miss you a lot but I will be back soon,I promise.Time will fly." Ahmed aid as he rubbed his mama's back,knowing well that even though her hormones might have been all over the place,she had been strong so that his decision did not change.Yet,here she was breaking down in his arms.

"Don't do anything stupid.Don't get any broken bones.Don't get hurt.Don't drown.Don't put your life in danger.I want you back in one piece."

"I promise you,mama I won't do anything stupid,won't break any bones and I won't drown but I can't promise that I won't get hurt.It's the military."

Farzana pulled back,Ahmed reached for a tissue and he wiped away her tears,"I'm being stupid.Of course,it's the military and your stupidness decided to get into the hardest branch,the marines."

"I'm dad's son,I'm bound to be stupid." Farzana let out a giggle with Ahmed who then kissed her forehead,"Don't worry,mama.I'll be back for baby's aqeeqah then you'll see me."

Farzana nodded her head as she looked up at him,"Let me go wash my face then I'll be back to help you pack."

"Okay,mama."

Farzana did as she said,she went to wash her face and came back.She packed his clothes into the bag,then closed it,"Done.Let's go and look for the rest of our family at the stables."

Ahmed shook his head as he looked at her,"Mama,you can go to the stables and come back,I just want to get something for you'll." Farzana lifted an eyebrow at which Ahmed gave her his sweet smile,"I promise it's not a prank nor am I doing anything bad."

Farzana nodded her head even though she was hesitant but he had promised so she believed him,"If you say so,I'll be back in ten minutes."

"Okay."

Farzana walked out of his room,a smile on her face.Oh,how had the years changed.It felt as if it were just yesterday she had walked into the palace ready to start her new married life and now they were here.Ayesha and Hafsa both had grown up being spoilt with loads of love from everyone in the family.Ahmed had completed his schooling career and moved on to wanting to join the marines for two years before he would return and complete a major in anything he wished before taking up royal duties.Ridwaan had grown from strength to strength with her by his side.While she had also grown.She had started her own organizations and initiatives.All while having their family next to them.

Ten years had flew by,her children were grown and she would now be having a child with Ridwaan.Farzana caressed her bump as she walked out of the palace,smiling and greeting all the staff that she saw as she made her way to the stables.
