EPILOGUE

Farzana and Ridwaan sat in her office,or more like Farzana sat while Ridwaan laid his head on her lap.Farzana had her head laid against the couch while she ran her fingers through his hair.They had been so busy making some last minute arrangements for their work before their holiday from duties that would be on for three months,that they had no time to see one another except for at breakfast and at supper before sleeping.

Ridwaan had gotten done before Farzana and had come to wait in her office but now he laid his head on her lap,his eyes closed,"Zana,I can't wait for this work to be done and over with so I can finally sleep properly."

"Me too." Her phone went off,she reached for it and swiped to answer the call,"As salaam mu alaykukm,Summaya."

"Wa alaykum mu salaa,ughti.It's Ibrahim.Summaya had given birth."

Farzana sat up,her face splitting into a huge smile," MashaAllah.Are you'll at the hospital?"

"Nam,we are at the hospital."

"We are on our way.See you."

"Nam,ughti."

Ridwaan looked at Farzana as she cut the call before looking at him,"Summaya?"

Farzana nodded her head,"Nam,Summaya has given birth and is in the hospital.Let's go."

Ridwaan and she left the office to go to the hospital.

"Ridwaan,we can't go to the hospital empty handed."

"Farzana,the gifts are in the boot."

"Yeah but we should get Summaya flowers and balloons,please." She begged and Ridwaan nodded.

"Ayub,pull up at the nearest florist and balloon shop please."

"Nam,sayid." Ayub did as said and Farzana told him which flowers to buy as she handed him her card.Ayub came back with what they wanted and they continued towards the hospital.They reached the hospital only to see Zainub,Nadir,Ali and Nabeela pull up as they did.They greeted one another as they made their way inside.The women chuckled as they noticed they all held either flowers and balloons.They reached the floor that Summaya was on and got off the lift.They walked towards the room.

Ridwaan knocked on the door which Ibrahim came to open and the men hugged as the women made their way to Summaya.Farzana smiled as she saw Summaya holding her baby.

"As salaam mu alaykum,ughti." Summaya greeted as they came closer and Farzana leaned forward to kiss her cheek.

"Wa alaykum mu salaam,Sumi.Mabrook on the baby..."

"Girl."

"MashaAllah." Summaya moved the blanket from the baby's face so that Farzana could see her face,"Aww,mashaAllah she is a beautiful baby."

Farzana moved away so Zainub and Nabeela could greet Summaya.The women moved away as the brother's came towards their sister after they put the flowers and balloons in one corner of the room.Ridwaan was the first to kiss his sister's cheek as he looked at the baby.

"MashaAllah,our niece is so cute.Mabrook,Summaya.May Allah make her the noor of your eyes and the coolness of your heart.May Allah always keep her happy."

"Ameen,ughi.Jazakallah."

"Come on,ughi the handsome uncle wants to meet his niece as well." Ali joked from behind him,Ridwaan scoffed.

"The handsome uncle has already meet her,you must mean the ugly uncle."

"Phsst,we all know that the middle child is always the handsomest." Ali scoffed back as Ridwaan turned to face him,rolling his eyes.
