The big day had finally come, everyone woke up early, Edgar went back to his apartment to get ready with the guys, Maya and I were getting ready at my place. "Stop stressing, Gracie, everything will be fine. You all have worked really hard for this." She said as she watched me pace from the bathroom to my bedroom. "I just have anxiety. I'm sorry." I sighed. "Hey, you don't need to apologize for that, of course you have anxiety, you have to deal with so much and put up with everything and everyone... you are constantly under too much pressure... but let's just go over the details to try and calm our nerves." She said. "You're right." I sighed. "Taylor already has our bags, the Hotel reservations are done, all of the invitations were reviewed and either confirmed or declined by the guests, and I just texted Haley and she's on her way to the venue with the outfits and everything that's needed." I went through my list in my phone. "See? Now all you gotta worry about is getting your butt in the outfit I chose for you." She grinned and pushed me aside to go to her room to get the little black dress she had chosen for me to wear at the concert.
"I don't know how you get me to wear this stuff." I laughed as I looked at myself in the mirror. "Something deep inside of you wants to be more edgy, you just need a little push." She smiled at me. "See, now you actually look like a rockstar's girlfriend." She teased me. "Shut up." I laughed getting closer to my vanity so I could wrap up my hair in a bun. "Oh no, don't you dare ruin my masterpiece." She nudged my hands. "Let your beautiful waves flow." She insisted. "And don't ruin my vibe, I take very seriously my job as your stylist for this tour." She joked and I couldn't help but laugh at her statement. It was true though, she's been pushing me to try new things and kind of figure out a style for me, I know it's been a couple of days but she's been an amazing guide, in a loving older sister kind of way, and I really appreciate it, I mean... I'm sort of alone to navigate my teens and either way, I don't have a sister or a close girl friend around to kind of lean on or ask for advice.
"I'll listen to you only because you have a great sense of style." I agreed and it was true, I don't know if it was the fact that she's older but I truly do love her vibe and her style, I wish I was as cool and collected as Maya. "Now let's go, sister." She gave me a quick hug and dragged me out of the apartment.
The venue was insane, all of the latest technology and updated equipment, dozens of flashing lights around the room, thousands of seats and the crew pacing rapidly around the halls getting every last detail done and checked. Taylor had driven us to the venue, the guys were already on stage doing the soundcheck, we decided to wait backstage because some of the fans with VIP packages were there and we did not want to cause a scene. I checked both bands' dressing rooms before letting myself relax, making sure they had towels, water, their favorite variety of snacks and drinks. Maya was getting herself a drink from the band's room while I checked on The Boomerangs.
"Hello, Gracie here, may I come in?" I knocked on the door and it suddenly opened. "Damn, girl." Nelly greeted me letting out a whistle. "Oh stop it." I entered grinning. "Are you guys ready?" I asked them. Mona and Cam were laying on the sofa relaxing. "We're very excited." Ramona squealed. "Definitely ready to rock." Cameron smiled and the girls let out a hell yeah, agreeing with his statement. "Their soundcheck is almost over, so your set will start soon." I stated. "We'll be ready." Ramona assured me. "Break a leg, guys. I know you'll set that stage on fire." I smiled at them and they all thanked me happily. I stepped outside so I could go check if the guys were already done, as I walked further from The Boomerangs's dressing room and approached the wings from the stage, I could hear loud clapping and screams, even if the venue wasn't full yet, I stood on the left wing which is Eddie's side and looked at him wave at the fans one last time.
The guys exited the stage but Edgar chose to walk to my side when he caught a glimpse of my silhoutte instead of going the other way. "Hey." I said opening my arms to hug him. "Hey." He said pulling me into his body, holding my waist firmly. "You look hot." He whispered in my ear almost in a growl, which made me start sweating nervously. "You too." I said biting my bottom lip, trying to maintain my sight on his face. "Is this one of the things I gifted you?" He asked, letting his hands move dangerously lower on each side of my body. "Yes." I breathed. "Lucky me." He smirked and swiftly moved his right hand to gently grab me by the neck and kiss me. I hooked my arms around his neck and followed his lead as he deepend the kiss, his hands started roaming on my body, he carefully moved us to the back until I felt the wall behind me. "As much as I love this dress on you." He started talking against my neck while keeping his hands on my body to mantain me still. "I can't help but to think about what's underneath." He said in a lower voice. "What if there's nothing?" I asked and shrugged my shoulders messing with him, making him gasp. "No." He stammered. "You wouldn't." He lowered his hands until his fingers played with the hem of my tight dress. "Guess you'll have to figure it out." I said flirty, moving my hands to his chest. "But later." I said and gently pushed him off me to start walking away from him, leaving him with a face of disbelief. "You're going to pay for this." He yelled smirking and I just turned around to blow him a kiss.
