Can't Tell [Frankiana]

CHAPTER 10

Diana's POV

We're now here in a clothing store, casually walking behind Franki. Having the rest of our batch mates wait on the outside, we're the last one who wakes up 'cause after what happened last night, we both had sleepyhead and dead brain.

I didn't bother to brag Franki and ask her about what she did. Ayoko siya maistress. A middle-aged man, tall, dark and handsome approaches us with a big smile on his face.

"Do you need any help, ladies?" His high-husky and girly voice shocked me, he's handsome but I think he's gay.

I stole a glance with the smirking Franki while we both analyze the guy in front of us. I guess we're on the same page, ulit.

"Ah no, it's okay po. We're just looking for a vibrant, classy dresses." Franki said with her cheerful voice, almost clapping.

"Oh, right this way, ladies," he extended his elbow showing us the line of clothing racks, filled with classy dresses.

"Thank you," Franki slightly bow down her head to him before walking through the racks, I turn to him with lopsided smile before following Franki.

My eyes are flittering around these superior dresses, it's just too good to look at. I watch Franki as she adorably starts to pick up a numerous items from the racks. Hays, lahat ng galaw niya ay sad'yang kay sarap pagmasdan.

After a brief searching for a dress, a gorgeous black dress caught my eyes. I immediately pick it up just to touch and feel it's cotton.

"Look, Dee!" She calls me out and so I lift my head up and turn to her side, seeing her holding up and waving the black dress in the air.

"This look gorgeous, right? Do you think bagay 'to sa'kin?" She frantically asked.

"Oh wow, that's actually nice, Punky. For sure, it will suit your body," I casually said with my gaze moving away from her to the dress.

"You really think so?" Her low soft voice makes me turn my head up to her again. She's pouting while waiting for me to speak.

"Yes, Punky. You gonna rock that dress! Come on, wala naman 'di babagay sa'yo eh." I exclaim with sincerity.

Franki seems to like my compliment because I saw her smile becoming wide and instantly real.

"Okay, I'm gonna take this na and let me see yours," she says before taking her dress to the cashier.

"What about this?" I asked with my casual tone.

"Oh yeah, it's pretty, Dee!" She happily claps her hands like a fangirl, "Gosh, I can't wait to see you wearing that dress. Go, get it na po!" She exclaim with excitement before playfully squeezed the other cheek of my butt.

"Frances!!!" I rants while glaring at her.

"Bah felicia!"

After Franki being naughty, we're finally out of the store, approaching our way to our batch mates. They look so happy seeing us with out shopping bags, and of course Argel automatically approach Franki with his hug. As if they don't see each other in a year.

Pampam ka boy?

I glared at Argel with annoyance before turning my attention to Sky. Yes, Sky is here, my ex mutual understanding. He's so quiet the whole trip, but I didn't give so much care and now he's approaching me tellin that he's gonna carry my shopping bags. I agreed naman, it's a bit heavy din kasi.

"Excited kana ba mamaya, Franki?" Hearing Argel voice irritates the shit out of me.

"Yes, sobra po." She excitedly replied.

"Oh, ano, kain na tayo." Kiara said while wrapping her arm around Gino's. They look so cute together, oh my gosh.

"Good idea, Kiara." Sky added after wrapping his arm around my waist.

What the heck? Sa harap pa talaga ni Franki, Sky?

I nervously looked on Franki's side, thinking maybe she's already glaring at us. But she isn't, her face is still jolly and she seems to be liking their conversation. I roll my eyes by annoyance. So I guess, I'm just gonna let Sky be touchy to me then.

"Where's Wealand, thou?" A question comes out from Franki before us entering this restaurant.

"He's probably swimming right now," Gino ridiculously said.

"And floating,"

"Nako boy, baka pinagkakaguluhan na 'yun ng mga girls do'n." Argel trying his best to make a good joke, and he successfully did it, napatawa niya si Franki at 'yung iba.

While Argel is being a gentleman, carrying the seat of Franki to help her, I immediately grabs the chair next to Franki and briskly sit there. I need to sit beside her of course, I won't let Argel defeat me in every way. I gotta make a move too. Sky is sitting on my left side, giving me his grin teeth, he even starts talking to me about how birds could fly above the sky and not getting freeze by the coldness. It doesn't even make sense, I do love animals but why he even thought that I would care about that topic.

This one of the reasons why I didn't like Sky before, he's a good man, he's smart, handsome but he's much more feminine than me. All the time he keeps on bombarding me about he being a smart ass guy, and the way his eyes gaze at me, it's just nothing. Nothing special, not so real, I can't see his sincerity.

Eh, I'm such an eye person, everything lies in our eyes. Even the things that are not visible, you can see it through the eyes. The waiter starts to serve us our food, the smell of it is such a relief to my stomach. My eyes were bound to Franki as we starts eating. Gino and Kiara are having their own world while Argel and Franki does too.

"Diana, do you have a partner for tonight?" Sky suddenly asked me in the middle of eating.

I stole a glance to Franki, thinking maybe she could be my partner but I think that Argel's already asked her out. Sad me. I then turn my head to meet Sky's eyes. Slowly shaking my head, indication that I don't have any partner.

"Can I be your partner then?" He asked with toothy grin. I wait for a few moment, just waiting for Franki's voice to come up but it didn't.

"Yeah, sure," I casually said giving him my sweet gaze before turning back to eating.

I badly wants Franki to be my all time partner but the world seems to disagree with that. I exhale the breathe out of my lungs before gaining back my normal posture before looking again at Sky.

"Yes!" He exclaim with excitement while making his hands do the 'yahoo' sign. I let out a chuckles to convince him that I really appreciates him.

But the truth is, it's Franki that I want to be my partner. She's the only one I want.
