(Y / N ) Pov I watched as Yusei and Kalin kept yelling at each other I couldn't be heard because of the barrier but I wish I could've done something. Kalin was no longer his old self. He no longer held kindness in his eyes, only hatred and darkness. He was willing to hurt us to get revenge on us even though it was his fault for being captured.
Yusei glanced at me briefly before getting onto his runner. I called out to him to stop but the barrier pushed me back further. Frustrated I used my wings to fly over back to Crow's hut. They were both inside and shocked to see her. " Do you still have my bike?" I asked and Crow nodded slowly. He lead me to the back alley and hidden behind a bunch of boxes were my (F/C) runner with a black lightning bolt down the side. A giant thunder rumbled the ground and we almost lost balance.
" Yusei is battling Kalin. But he's not himself anymore. " I sighed looking away from my brother. He nodded before tossing me my helmet. We both rode off back to where they were despite my protests. When we got there, some of Yusei ' s other friends were there. We could just barely see them racing around but it wasn't looking good.
"Yusei just took a big hit and his runner seems like it's about to give out." Tank said. I bit my lip nervously. For as long as I've know those two, they were each others missing piece. Now for them fighting it was weird.
"Come on Yusei," I muttered under my breath. We all watched the rest duel in a tense silence, the outcome was almost the worst. Yusei's runner crashed throwing him against the barrier. Since the battle didn't technically end so his soul didn't leave him but he was still beaten up pretty bad.
"Yusei! Oh my...." I cried pulling his limp form towards me. His midsection was torn up pretty bad and his face was cut up everywhere.
"I can take him to Martha's. She's not too far from here. (Y/N) please help his friends take Yusei's runner back. We'll meet you there." Crow said as I went to grab the wrecked mess of a duel runner. I watched them speed away before wrapping a rope to link my and his runner together.
"Let's get moving, this area is dangerous when it's dark." I motioned for the five us to get moving.
"So, your that girl that Yusei keeps talking about" Rally started trying to make a conversation. I nodded slowing.
"I surprised to hear that, I thought he forgot about me," I replied continuing down the alley.
"No way! Why would he think that?" Navin asked as I internally groaned. I didn't want to get into this topic.
"I disappeared a while back for a couple of years after our gang broke apart."
"There was no way that he would forget you, man he would constantly tell us stories of how you duelled and he kept a little picture in a compartment of his runner." Tank said stopping the runer and pulling out an old piece of paper.

"5. We knew, that was his favourite story" I blushed at that. I've had a crush on him since I was little and he told me once if I could be him in a duel he would tell me if he felt the same but that was ages ago. I still wonder if he remembers that.
Before we could get any further a gang suddenly jumps out at us. I really wasn't in for this so I summoned (F/D) to scare them off. It drained me quite a bit but at least they were gone. W quicken our pace to get out of there but another group attacked us. The boys through their clothes away to distract them while we ran. By the time we got to Martha's it was well past midnight and the only people up were us, Crow , Martha and the doctor helping Yusei. The boys went to bed instantly while I stayed up fixing up my turbo deck. Crow said that Akiza would be here in the morning and then once Yusei's all healed then we'll head back to Neo Domino City. Before we go I have on more thing to cross off my list, I'm going after Kalin and I'm going to rid of the darkness with in his heart. I'll leave once I finish fixing up Yusei's runner. He taught me that when I was younger and surprisingly I still remeber. Just you wait Kalin I'm coming for you!
