29. Bittersweet Memories Part 2

Quick Note: Like I said in my 'I'm Sorry...chapter" My mental health has been iffy so it has affected my writing. These are going to be full of emotion some mentions of death, neglect, hatred and revenge. If it is soo difficult then I will do a quick summary at the end of this chapter for the next couple of chapters. If this warning isn't at the top of the story then it will be ok to read. This will be defining (Y/N)'s character a little bit more and if it is confusing shoot me a message and I will clarify. I try to keep my writing open to most audiences but this is kinda important for the story so I am sorry to those who struggle to read this. I cried a bit writing this so it's tough for me too. And like always if you are struggling with stuff, shoot me a message. I will chat all the way through the night if you need me. And If I can support you in any way I will try. Afterall all of us fans, readers and writers got to stick together. That's why I started to do commissions, to help one of my favourite writers on Quotev. (Commission info still in the works) But enough of the sad stuff. It's a funny thing I said two days ago that this story was going to pause but then I felt bad leaving it on a cliffhanger so I was going to finish the short part but then it turned into a part with about 6,000 words, which will be split into multiple chapters. So I hope you enjoy it.

This is also going off of the main storyline for a bit and so will the final battle. The final duel will have (Y/N) using a dragon synchro deck (That is my deck and it may be a little OP but hey...you are kinda the main character now so just roll with it. Also, it is because it is easier for me to write but you chose how you want to approach this)(This background for the Crimson Flare is all made up and does have references to Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters {The one with Yugi and the Phararo} and some small parts of Yu-Gi-Oh GX. The references might be a little off for the later one because I have limited knowledge about it but we'll just roll with it. Bold will be Roman narrating it)

Crow's Pov

Yusei ran off and before I could do anything the dessert changed into Domino City? That doesn't make any sense since it was destroyed.

"Crow? Where are we?" Akiza asked looking around confused. My body went ridge and tears fell from eyes looking around. I felt Akiza trying to shake me and I could hear her voice but everything felt so distant. I never wanted to relive this.

"We-we're in Domino City before the destruction happened" I breathed as everything returned to me. But I've never been in this part before. It was an older community and older couples were living here.

"Is that little (Y/N) over there? Sitting next to the older woman in the flower bed?" Akiza pointed out and I followed.

"Yup but I don't know the woman"

"Alexis!! Look it's that crow and the black rose it's always carrying!" Little (Y/N) shouted excitedly pointing in our direction. She waved us over and we approached their front lawn just as an actual crow with a deep red rose flow overhead. The bird sat next to us on the fence and gave me a weird look before flying off.

"He really loves that rose doesn't he, (Y/N)?" The lady know as Alexis asked. Little (Y/N) nodded smiling before placing a flower crown on her head.

"I bet you that they will get married and live happily ever after" (Y/N) declared swaying her head to each word before giggling again.

"Huh, do you think she predicted us getting together? " Akiza asked in a teasing manner. I blushed heavily and playfully pushed her. We stayed there listening to every little bit of the conversation. When an older man appeared, little (Y/N) brought out her deck and they had a mock duel, with the older man, known as Jaden, letting her win. She got really excited and started jumping around, avoiding the flowers.
