per your covid cases, criminally,
publically calculable, world to see.
Comparison's odious, certainly.
Something stinks to high heaven.
Praising hard pressed angels will not leaven
systematic Neoliberal neglect:
over ten Tory years the NHS wrecked,
millions brought to direst poverty.
Deny-hard Johnson mocking Italy,
making sure he shook all by his soft hand
to help to spread sickness throughout the land.
Whining Whitty, shaking his sorry head:
'I'm afraid it's true the vulnerable are dead
It's so difficult to protect care homes
I tell you truly and I make no bones' -
whereas in Australia one case shrieks head-
-lines, and the states' apparatus sees red
as the public do. Something must be done
and is done, is not left bloody undone.
