"Alright, I'll see you all in 10 days, don't worry!" I said, hugging the boys and all the girls. Ali, Harry, Niall and I were all about to leave to go back to America for Thanksgiving.
I had put hot pink wind shorts and my Manchester United hoodie. My hair, piled on top of my head. It was a nine hour flight. I was not going to look pretty for this. I was going to change in Cleveland anyway.
We kissed everyone goodbye, and got in the car waiting out front, which took us to the London Heathrow airport.
No one had announced we were going to America, so thank goodness, there were no swarms of fans, but I had no doubt they would figure out our flight times and arrive in Cleveland.
We checked our bags, and I took a carry-on and a purse. "Gosh, I'm freezing."
"It's November and you're wearing shorts. You're stupid is what you are." Harry said.
"Oh who asked you." I said. We got in line for security, and this is where I shined.
"Alright everyone, when we get up there, everyone in one line and listen to me, got it?"
"Aren't we the ones who travel so much? How do you know how to quickly get through security?" Niall laughed.
I stayed turned away from the other and spoke.
"Those metal detectors are those of my dad's company, I know what does and doesn't set them off, and my dad trained me well in the area of efficiently getting through airport security so shut the fuck up and let me handle it. I got this, bitches." That shut them up quite quickly.
We got to the front, and gave the TSA agent our tickets. "Why were you in London?" He asked.
"Study abroad. We're going back to visit my family."
"And who are you two boys?" He asked.
"We're the boyfriends. Wish us luck, it's meet the parents time." Harry joked.
The agent let us through, and I switched on my airplane mode.
"Alright," I shouted over the others so my party could hear me. "Belts off, shoes off, laptops, phones, iPads and other electronics out of your suitcase and into your own separate bin. Purses in their own bin. Small carry-ons go in on their own. Sunglasses in the bin. Ali, put our pillow pets in a bin."
I heard security giggling slightly.
I watched as everyone got their items organized. I told Harry and Niall to go through. Ali helped me sort out the last of it, and she went through the detector right before me.
The TSA motioned me through, and then he asked me. "How do you know so much about security? You don't look a day over nineteen."
"My dad's metal detectors." I pointed to the object behind me.
"Ah, offspring of the security business." We both laughed.
We got all our stuff collected and went down to our 10am flight 542 from London to Chicago. We boarded the plane and sat in our first class seats. Mine, courtesy of Louis and Eleanor.
I looked over to Harry clutching Ali's hand and she was crying. This scared her, but she knew she had to be on a plane. She would be fine in a bit. She had been crying this morning, too.
The flight attendant gave us all the warnings, and pretty soon, we were off to Chicago.

"Niall, I'm tired," I said coming off our flight in the O'Hare International Airport.
"It's only, like, 6pm back in London."
