It was silent for the first few minutes. No one wanted to speak up first. But Yoongi couldn't take it anymore so he decided to break the silence.

"Hey, can we talk?"

Yoongi look at her and she stared back at him.

"About what?"

She tilted her head to the side. Confusion was written on her face.

"About us?"

She looked away.

"What about us?"

Why is she trying to escape this conversation? It barely has even started yet. Yoongi sighs.

"Aen."

Then she sighs as well and looks back at him.

"Yoongi."

Yoongi was taken aback. He didn't expect she would say his name.

"That's the first."

"What?"

"You called me by my name."

"Ehhhh?"

Aen blushed upon realizing what he meant.

"You can keep calling me that."

And she blushed more.

"I- o-of course, I'll call you that. Did you expect me to call you oppa?"

"What?"

Now it was Yoongi's turn to blush.

"Don't even dream about it."

And he blushed even more.

"Wha- I- I did not."

Silence.

"Wait, why won't you call me oppa? Don't get me wrong, I don't want you to call me that but aren't I older than you?"

Yoongi looks at her confused.

"You are. And to answer your question. It's cringey."

"WHAT?! You think I'm cringey?"

"WHAT?! No. That's not what I meant. Ughh."

Aen slaps her face in annoyance.

"Then what?"

"The word "oppa" itself is what's cringey."

Then Yoongi looks at her and tilts his head to the side, confusion written on his face.

"Why?"

And Aen finds her heart skipping a beat at such action.

She thinks he looks cute, so she looks away.

"It's hard to explain."

"Try me."

"Ughhh... Fine... I'll tell you but don't you dare judge me."

"Okay."

"Right. So, I find it cringey because of the way some people especially adults pronounce it. And it gives me goosebumps whenever I hear them say it. Of course, there are exemptions like example kids since they're cute when they say it."
