A Sandy Date

Time just passes quick when your having fun. I had the same dream every night for a couple days now. Something was definitely up and going to happen, today was my date with a Brandon. I was looking forwards to it. I put on a mauve lipstick and did simple makeup. I put my hair up in a bun with two braids running down the side. I wore a neon green dress with loose sleeves and a tight fit on the body. I heard a knock at the door and knew it was Brandon. I turned to Andrea.
"I will see you later then Andrea."
"Have a good date, see ya."
I smiled at her then opened the door. He wore black jeans with a black tuxedo top. He was in all black and god he was attractive.
"Looking handsome Brandon."
"And your looking gorgeous. Come K, let's go."
He made me wear a blindfold and took me to a secret spot. It sounded like the beach, I could hear waves and the breeze.
"Can I take it off now?"
"Nope just a little more."
I took a couple more steps and he lifted the blindfold up. It was indeed a beach, a gorgeous beach.There was a table with a set of chairs and candles. There were rose petals surrounding the table. He walked over to a seat and dragged it out for me.
"Aw Brandon, this is too much."
"No it's not, you deserve it."
I blush hard and take the seat Brandon offered to me.
I put my hands on my jaw and started into his eyes.
"Your eyes are gorgeous."
"Could say the same for you."
He lifts up a serving lid and uncovered a steak meal.
"You cooked this?"
"With a bit of help from my mum, yes"
I chuckle. The night went by swiftly and me and Brandon we're nearing the end of the night.
"Better pack up now then."
"No, no Kaia. Wait."
"What is it?"
He stood up and took my hands in his.
"Kaia, I hadn't known you long but I feel like I have known you my whole life. Your perfect in every way possible and would you give me the honour of making you my girlfriend?"
I can't believe it! I knew it was coming but I just never thought about it.
"Yes!"
I brought him into a tight hug and squeezed him.
"I love you Brandon Blaze."
"And I love you Kaia Silverstorm."
We tidied up and walked back to the college together. That night we slept in his room and I fell asleep in his arms. It was warm and cozy, being in his presence made it more warm...
This light, a light again. It's the same dream isn't it, when will this dream ever end? I yawn. Wait I yawned? I pinched myself and I could actually move. This dream was going to be fun. I look around me and see Brandon.
"Brandon? What are you doing here."
He looked at me weirdly.
"Cool, your in my dream too."
"This feels almost real though babe."
"Don't worry about it, we will be fine."
Suddenly the man appears again, the attractive man I have been seeing in my dreams.
"Your both finally here together, I guess you two made it official?"
How would that make us in a dream together, if we were dating?
"Yeah, we did."
"Don't be shy Kaia, you and me are familiar. So are me and Brandon. You two are going to be important soon. When you both turn seventeen, you will take the responsibility. Luckily your birthdays are on the same day."
Silence just filled the dream, we both didn't know what he meant. He kept on repeating this in the dream that I had, a responsibility and a position.
"Don't be shy, your birthdays are soon so you will not have to wait much longer. I'm excited for you to come, your companionship will help too."
"What's your name sir?"
"Hyacinth, just like the water flower. Well children, you best be off. Goodbye."
I went back to sleep not really knowing what happened. I fell into a sleep.
I wake up in Brandon's arms and look at him.
"Morning."
He opens his eyes and squeezes me.
"You has that dream too, didn't you."
"Yup, another weird dream."
The new week rose and it was mine and Brandon's birthday. We both were turning seventeen, nearly entering adulthood. We got dressed up and walked to the school event hall. Aila has planned a party to celebrate, it was really sweet of her. Brandon opened the door and there were neon decoration and bright lights. All of our friends jumped and shouted.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"
We both laugh and have fun. I've never really danced this much in my whole life. This white dress I was wearing got stained so much. Everyone got hyper on all the drinks Andrea and Aila had brought. I grinded on Brandon and we had such chemistry while dancing. He felt the vibe of the music softly. I shouted since the music was loud.
"BRANDON, I'm gonna get another drink okay."
"Okay baby girl."
I walked over to the drinks stand and poured lemonade into a red plastic cup. I turned around and wow! Hyacinth was here, that was weird. I ran over to him.
"Hello Hyacinth, what has got you here?"
"It's time to go. Kaia and Brandon come here and take my hand. I didn't really know what was what so why not. I took one of his hands and Brandon took the other. A blue spark appeared and took me and a Brandon to a random place. It was cloudy, bright clouds with eight thrones. This is the place I had been in my dreams and it was also in the myth.
"Now that we are alone...You two are becoming Gods. I know it's a lot to take in but you two are the perfect candidates and it's time we have new Gods."
Gods?! Gods? Your kidding me, the myth was true. They had been watching over me and Brandon for yonks and had chosen us. I can't believe this is happening.
